I do quite a bit of electrical wiring renovations around the home and cottage. I prefer using conduit and flexible metal conduit. I use these 1-hole straps extensively for securing MC cable. They are quick and easy to use on what ever type of material you want to fasten to, weather it is wood, cement, steel, or cement block. I would definitely recommend using these straps.

1/4 Screws are best to anchor securely to clamp, but these clamps only allow 3/16 screws. Second, they do not grip to bx/mc cables so the wire can move up or down.

They do not grip cable tight enough. Cable will slip through. Do work ok on 1/2" cable.
