A great area light at a good price point. If you need a light for your driveway, parking area, back yard or around your garage or shed this is the light for you. For proper lighting of the area you can install it up to 10 from the ground. It has a built in dusk to dawn sensor. It is equaliment to a 125 watt incandescent bulb producing 2000 lumens using 20 watts in what is referred to as dayligh color- 4000K This comes with three mounting screws and you can install it on the side of a structure or a pole. The built in junction box punch outs allow you to bring the wiring thru the wall into the light or conduit up the wall or pole and into the bottom of the light mount. I chose to mount mind on a 1 1/2" aluminum conduit bend with the clamp provided. If you like this light but want more light then look at model ALB4A- it is 4000 lumen at 40 watts at or about the same price point. This is the perfect size for me lighting up the area in front of the shed but not bothering my neighbors.

This review is for the Halo ALB 125-Watt 2000 Lumens Integrated LED Grey Basic Area Light This puts out just the right amount of light. The older element lights were just obnoxious in so many ways. This puts light just where you need it. Installation was simple, although the surface I was mounting to was less than optimal. Looked like wood, but turned out to be plastic / vinyl. Light comes on at dusk and goes off at dawn. Light points downward eliminating a lot of light pollution in case you ever want to look at stars.

This is a HALO brand dusk to dawn LED light made in China. The light is designed to replace a 125 watt incandescent light and produces 2000 lumens of light for up to 11 years. This LED light works best mounted up to 10 feet high on a wall or a pole and has the hardware provided for that attachment. The light has a light gray metal housing and has a stylish design that puts out a bright area light. This dawn to dusk controlled light was priced at $39.97 in August of 2020 and I am happy with the quality and design and would recommend it.

Gone is that annoying buzzing and eerie yellowish light that made my side yard look like an industrial area. This all-in-one unit is absolutely silent, plus runs at a fraction of the wattage while putting out a brighter light (at 20 watts consumption, 12 hrs/day all year at $0.10/kwh, that's only $8.76/yr). With the bulbs rated at 50,000 hours, it should last over 11 years. Completely assembled, easy installation, easy wiring, and at only $40, one and done. The mount is the standard one used by many yard lights, so if you're replacing one, that means you can use your old bolts and no new holes (though it comes with bolts). The housing is much bigger than it needs to be for the spread of the LEDs, but I guess that's marketing. Light is brilliant but not garish. Only a 1-year warranty, but that's standard. Should have bought this years ago when my buzzy, yellowy classic sodium-vapor light first went out!

I have 3 other Halo outdoor light for my property, and they are all the top of the line outdoor LED lights. And this model is no different. It is made like a tank, with a metal housing and sealed plastic lens with a gasket to keep the little flying bugs out that fly around at night. I mounted mine on my mower shed and this light is perfect for smaller areas as it is 2000 lumens. But it puts out lots of bright white light and uses only 20 watts of power so it won’t run up your electric bill like the mercury vapor lights it replaces, which uses 125 watts. It is also 4000K color temperature, so it is not a daylight white, but more a natural color as seen in the pictures. It has some yellow to the color of light. The only problem I have with these Halo lights is the mounting plate. Due to the shape of the triangular mounting plate, I had a hard time tightening the bottom two bolts on all the Halo lights I installed. The bolts that hold the electrical conduit plate on the light were in the way in each case. I did not use the supplied hex head wood screws because they were too big to use in my sheds T1-11 siding, so I used much shorter wood screws. The only thing that I found that would work to tighten the screws was an offset screwdriver. And for the supplied hex heads, the only thing I found that would work is an open end wrench. I think Halo needs to make the triangle mounting plate a little bigger, or move the mounting bolts for the electrical conduit plate to somewhere else. Plus, those bolts in the electrical mounting plate are Allen bolts. A lot of people don’t have Allen wrenches laying around to mount their outdoor lights. To mount the light, put the bottom two screws in, lay the light on it, and tighten the top screw. The hard part is when you are on a ladder trying to tighten the bottom two one turn at a time. Overall, a top of the line outdoor light that will probably outlast me!!

This LED light is very bright for it's size. The housing is made out of metal. Even the bracket that holds in to the wall or pole is metal but has a plastic inside to it. It is small in size but it does light up a good size area. It does have a dusk to dawn feature to it. It is made by Copper lighting. Easy to install and the color of the light is almost a bright cool white.

A well crafted light fixture that provides illumination to a large area. This fixture is an easy install as it includes the hardware needed. Also included is a bracket to allow the fixture to be mounted to a pole if desired. The fixture is well made and is rated for damp and wet locations. We installed it in our outdoor patio and pool area and it provides a lot of light to the entire area as it is rated at 2000 lumens. This is the perfect light to light up a large area. The LED light is rated for 50,000 hours and is energy efficient. The fixture has a dusk to dawn photocell which functions as it should. Great price point on a quality light fixture.

We got a Halo ALB 125-Watt 2000 Lumens Integrated LED Grey Basic Area Light for our back yard to add more light when we let the dog out and more and I am here to tell you this was a very good choice . It gives off a good amount of light to the ground and has a photo cell to turn it on and off at night so we don't have to mess with it . You can bolt it up as I did to wood or a wall or mount it on a pipe or pole . The kit contains hardware to do it either way . It claims 50,000 hours of light and mounting and hookup is easy work .

I must say, this is a great light. I was surprised by the area it covered with being just 2000 lumens. But, don’t be fooled like it did me. I mounted it roughly 20 foot off the ground, and it shines light 30+ feet out. So I could only imagine if mounted higher. Comes with wire nuts, lag screws, and an optional bracket for pole mount right out of the package. Standard 3-wire hook up. Lightweight and slim, unlike the bulb type lights, and no more bulbs to change. 11 year warranty.
