SMD (For Surface Mounting)

Designer Trims (SMD Only)
For HALO SMD4 and SMD6 (round and square models), you can choose from three finishes: white (paintable), satin nickel and tuscan bronze.
SMD-DM (For Direct Mounting)
Installs directly into the ceiling with no junction box or housing required. The lights install flush to the ceiling for a clean and polished look.
Canless Installation (SMD-DM)
For direct mounting, simply use the provided template to cut a hole in the drywall, connect wiring to the integrated junction box and place the fixture in the hole.

These Halo Surface Mount LED Downlights are ideal for use in your new home installation. This recessed lighting features an ultra-slim design that fits where LEDs can't and they install directly into drywall without a junction box or additional housing. They're ideal for use in commercial and residential areas, basements, attics, storage spaces, closets and more.

The HLB8 is a 8 in. ultra-thin LED lens downlight with remote driver/junction box suitable for new construction and remodel applications.
