A linear track section and power supply is required (sold separately) or use as an add-on to a Hampton Bay linear, Commercial Electric or H/EC (3 BUS) track lighting system that you already have.

Is this head and bulb dimmable? And is there a LED bulb that fits this fixture that is at least 2...

AnswerThe 1-Light White Mini-Step Linear Track Lighting Head is dimmable. The head uses a bulb with a GU10 base so you would need to find an LED with that base. Please check the package of the bulb you choose to determine if it is dimmable.
Is this compatible with H-type track? Can you change the bulb as well?

After one of the heads of our Profile track light died, we found that Profile seemingly no longer exists as a brand. We were delighted to find that this Hampton Bay head exactly matches the original heads and the directions for installation were far superior to those that came with the Profile unit. AND it worked perfectly. Even came with a bulb. Hope when the halogen bulb dies we can find LED bulbs that fit!

I replaced the lighting in my track lighting system with...
I replaced the lighting in my track lighting system with this product. It gives a softer light which is easier on the eye than my previous track lights and the bulbs are replaceable. I replaced a set that had built-in bulbs that when they died, the whole light had to be replaced. When one died, I got rid of all three and replaced them with three of this product. It is attractive and compact which I also needed for my small kitchen.
