The Hampton Bay Low Voltage 10-Watt Equivalent LED Surface Mount Light creates bright, soft lighting that is perfect for stairs, decks and other outdoor areas, as well as enhancing security. The light quality is similar to that of a typical halogen light but it consumes over 80% less energy and has a rated life of 50,000 hours. The LED system provides maintenance free operation and there are no bulbs to change. With cast aluminum construction, long life powder coat finish and weatherproof electronics, you can count on years of trouble free use. The quick-install wire connector and 48 in. lead wire means easy do-it-yourself installation that is quick and safe.

So far so good, However one of the lights I got had a hole drilled through the front of it and not where the recess for the screw was. I had already been to 3 stores to get the 6 lights I needed, because the 2 original stores that said they had them in stock didn't by the time i got there, 15 minutes later.

Great product. The body of the light is metal and very durable. The light itself is well made and hookup couldn't be easier. The wire pigtail has a clip on the end that opens to accept the low voltage wire, then clips back together effortlessly. Be sure to use good electrical tape when finished to protect the connector from water.
