There are no track heads or bulbs included. The track system is 120 Volt and is dimmable depending on the bulbs you use in the track heads purchased.

We bought track lights that came with halogen bulbs and replaced them with leds. It significantly cut down on the heat in the kitchen. We also used the pendant light adapter to hang pendant lights, which had a standard fitting we could put led bulbs in. As long as you choose a fixture with a replaceable bulb you can go with any of the track lights that fit the track.

Great product for the price. Easy to install. The only complaint is that Hampton Bay does not offer additional mounting posts or stanchions for sale. I had to buy an additional kit to get the posts I needed to complete my install.

The track looks great and installs easily and quickly. It is a bit heavy due to its length so it's best to have something to rest the end on when beginning the install if you have to play the power input toward the end of the track. One negative (but not bad considering the price) was that the flex wire inside the mold was sticking out a bit at both ends when I received it and I had to manipulate it back in the plastic with a flathead screwdriver (or a butter knife would work) and massage massage the plastic a bit to get it to look flush. Overall, I would recommend this as is has worked well and looks crisp, clean, and provides and updated look to our home as opposed to the old standard track lighting.

Avoid this product! The name for this product is extremely misleading. "Starter Kit" infers that the track can be added on to, they even sell Connectors, however it is impossible to get support stems. I even contacted Hampton Bay and they informed me it was impossible to get stems. I need them because if you add any weight (a light) to the track it flexes too much and pulls the track down from the ceiling.

I'm still going to give this four stars as it does have some issues but in the end installation turned out nicely. We still have some spotlights to arrive but it's installed enough that I'm OK reviewing it. As noted, the majority of the pieces are plastic rather than metal and in looking at them up close the difference is noticeable but when we installed these pendant lights into a 10' ceiling in our home bar the fixture looks very nice. The installation of the track is very straightforward although there are a couple of fundamental errors in the instructions (at least on the sheet that we had) that caused some issues. One very important thing to do in advance is to plan where your lights are going to drop especially if you're using pendant lights. The lights we used (EC410ABZ4) weigh almost 3 lbs. each and *will* pull the track down if a stanchion is not mounted within a few inches of where the light will attach. The first flaw in the instructions says to place the stanchions a *minimum* of 20" apart. No, that's more like a *maximum* of 20" apart. As you can see even from the last stanchion on the right to the power supply, the track is drooping. The gap is 23". The other flaw in the instructions was in the mounting of the stanchions. The kit comes with (curiously) both the standard hollow wall anchors that take a wood screw and expand as well as the toggle bolt anchor. For me, when hanging something from the ceiling the toggle is the only anchor to use. The instructions indicate that you should drill a 5/16" hole to insert the anchor. The issue is that the toggle itself is slightly more than 1/2". I'm guessing either there was an editing disconnect or that translation software was used and mis-translated this. Actually I think the latter is likely in both cases. All in all the finished product looks very nice for stage 1. We will be expanding the track to cover the entire bar. Interestingly enough homedepot.com sells the stanchions individually but not the track separately so we are likely looking at buying two more starter kits and throwing away the 120V adapter to finish our tun. An interesting idea. Why not sell the track separately? The stanchions are sold separately.

I'm using this light system in a basement room with a low ceiling. It was easy to shape the track the way I was wanting to use it. It took less than 2 hours to install the track and place the lights where I wanted them. It did take two people to get the track attached to the ceiling. One could hold the track while the other put up the anchors. I used a dimmer and purchased LED bulbs to use rather than the halogen bulbs. It's functioning as I hoped it would.

We bought this flex track to go with the Hampton Bay120-Volt Antique Bronze Flexible Track Head with Glass Shade (sold separately, of course). They look fantastic together. The instructions are a bit lacking on how to cut the track and install, but we eventually figured it out. We bought the GU-10 LED bulbs to replace the halogens, and put it on a dimmer switch. Looks great!

This track lighting is a good match on quality for price. It's not the best quality or the prettiest but it's good for the price. Installation seemed pretty standard and straightforward but I'm handy so that's not unusual. My biggest issue is that Hampton Bay doesn't seem to want to pick a finish for what they call "antique bronze" and stick with it. I also purchased two flush mount fixtures that have the same heads that are used on the track. The "antique bronze" on all the Hampton Bay products other than this track, is really just a dark brown paint.
