2400-Watt Black Linear Track Conduit Power Feed

This review covers Hampton Bay 120-Volt 150-Watt White Linear Track Pendant or Chandelier Adapter, 2400-Watt White Linear Track Conduit Power Feed, 8 ft. 2400-Watt White Linear Track Lighting Rail Section, and 1-Light White Integrated LED Mini-Step Linear Track Lighting Head. I installed the Hampton Bay track light components to replace an old ‘80’s vintage set that had discolored with age and buying compatible replacement light heads was challenging and expensive. I did drill new holes in the rail section to align with the existing holes in the concrete ceiling of my condo. This was easy enough - I left the cellophane wrapper on the rail and had my partner hold the rail up to align with the old screw holes. I then marked the location of the holes in the ceiling on the cellophane with a Sharpie. I drilled holes slightly larger than the shaft of the cement screws in the center of the rail. Eesy Peasy. I recommend attaching the power feed to the rail and then mounting the rail and power feed together to the ceiling before completing the power connections to the power feed. The LED mini lights are stylish, modern, bright and energy efficient. We used the pendant adapters to suspend two small pendant reading lights from the rail over the bed. We used Westinghouse build your own pendant light kits. The pendants look great and powering them through the track light rail was super simple. We highly recommend the Hampton Bay track light system and components.

Great product, low profile, and works perfectly against a wall or beam. Was able to hide the wires perfectly so they are not exposed and easily visible. Slides right into my track system and is compatible with the H type track system. Definitely met my expectation.

There are bettter accessories available. In store products work, but nicer looking models to purchase would be nice.

They should add a knock out hole of 1/2” in the bottom too. It give you options for the feeder.

As a Master Electrician I have utilized this product numerous times throughout my career. Very well made

The halogen bulbs inherently burn very hot. The bezel assemblies for the light fixtures are what secures halogen bulbs in place. The bezel assembly does not stay secure. The pressure created by pushing the actual wiring into the fixture is enough to push the bezel and bulb from the fixture. The bulb doesn’t fall out of the fixture but the bezel falls to the floor. Only remedy is to press the bezel out of round and the press onto the fixture. Overall fixture appearance is very clean and attractive. LED fixtures are a better option however if you’re working with a budget these are a Great choice!
