Fell apart in less than 3 years
Not sure how long these are supposed to last but we purchased in 2020 and it's 2023 and there is a huge hole in the cast iron part of the fire pit. The warranty is one year. Would recommend looking at a different fire pit. For the price I would have expected it to last longer.

We highly recommend using a fire pit cover between uses, or to store in a dry place, That said, we are sorry that you're unhappy with your fire pit and wish you the best with future purchases.

Grate Literally Melted, Finish Bubbled Off 2 Uses
like the size and look. Assembly was easy enough, although bottom ring is 90 degrees so it gaps instead of being flush against sides of bowl. BUT... used it twice and the cheesy grate melted down and the finish that I bought it for is bubbling off on one area on the side running the entire look of the thing. The finish clearly cannot handle the heat of wood burning and the poor metal quality of the grate cant withstand normal use. if you don't care about these things maybe it works for you. I used it twice and have relegated it to burn pile use and putting in a fire ring instead. very disappointed...

Very poor design - works great as a bathtub.
I imagine this was designed to be used outdoors instead of inside...? At least that's what we purchased it for. Well it works great as a bathtub that holds rainwater for weeks and months at a time. A few drain holes would have been nice...or how about a cover for it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who plans on using it and leaving it outside.
Find one that at least water can drain out of.

Thanks for posting your review. We do appreciate your comments. We do recommend a cover when this, and any other fire pit, are not in use. Covers may be purchased at Home Depot. Not only will it keep the fire pit dry but will also help prolong the life of the fire pit and reduce rusting. In addition, many customers will drill a few holes in the base of the fire pit. We hope that help.

Satisfied
This fire pit works perfect for cold weather and roasting marshmallows 😊 with family!! We had a smaller one and it just didn’t keep us warm enough. If you have the room in your backyard I would definitely recommend this.

Beautiful
We bought this on a Black Friday deal, really not expecting it to be as nice as it was. I read previous reviews that some people had to drill holes that were not pre-drilled, but we did not have that problem. It looks expensive and is absolutely gorgeous.

Beautiful but....
I was excited for a fire pit. Then, I purchase this one and it's defective. The small ring has NO holes to be able to attach to the legs. Only the large ring has holes to attach the top of the legs. HD customer service was speedy in contacting the manufacturer and calling me back when they received a response. Unfortunately, the manufacturer won't have the part until after Christmas.

Pretty but hard to assemble.
We got this on sale for $99. Bottom ring &legs are done. There are little nubs or what appear to be hardened solder drippings inside the leg stands which makes threading difficult. DO NOT PUT THE NUTS on the lower ring. You get 8 of those & they go on th stop. The legs have to be bent considerably to stretch to the outer ring. Doing this alone you are going to need C clamps, otherwise a second person can hold it in place. This assembly begs for a video. Two pre-drilled holes at top of bowl?

That said, we are making improvements to this fire pit to make it easier to assemble. The two pre-drilled holes in the top are used during manufacturing. We hope you enjoy!
