Setup and instructions were good. No special tools required other than Allen wrench (provided) & screwdriver. This model is ~10 inches taller than typical heaters on the market. Only drawback is the width of the hood: its diameter is +36" and no fitted cover exists on the market (trust me, I looked). I ended up buying a tarp & bungee cords to protect it. Ignition seems to work fine; just need to keep the dial pressed in & rotate to the higher setting so it stays lit. After a few seconds of being lit, it can then be released and dialed down, if desired. Other than that, this thing is a heating beast & will keep you toasty on a cold day.

We are Very Satisfied!
We bought ours about 1.5 years ago, and are very satisfied with it! It was easy to assemble, all parts were there, it lights "first time - every time," and it throws off a lot of heat. It has never failed on us, and the adjustable heat dish is a nice feature. We live in Monterey CA and this has allowed us to eat outside on slightly cooler evenings. A game changer for us!

Nice!
it works great and was easy to put together although one hex bolt was filled with metal and one bolt was stripped making both unable to be used. I should be able to take both bolts in to Home Depot and get them replaced-in the meantime, I had some that fit.

Tip and point that Heat... 48K works
This is a superb heater.
Not all 48000 BTU heaters are the same. You know the pretty ones with the center flame, they look pretty but you will not be warm or even hot from their output.
This one not only kicks it out, if you are in a corner like we have on our patio, you can tip the dish to heat the corner.
Only down side is the dish is 39"+ (European) and with the meter width never been able to find a cover.
Home Depot give us a cover!
