Manually have to change to purple lights every night. Is there a way for the light to remain purple automatically?
    ByOct 16, 2024
    1 Answer |
    Answer This Question

This particular Hampton Bay 50 Lumens Black LED Outdoor Solar Landscape Spotlight doesn't have a color-changing feature. It emits a warm white light (3000K). Therefore, there's no way to automate a purple light setting. If you're looking for color-changing lights, you might consider exploring other options that offer that functionality.

I purchased these lights about 2 months ago; however, the only stay on for about an hour after the sun goes down. I live in sunny So. Cal. so they get plenty of sunlight to fuel the solar element. I also the path lights. Those don't light at all.

        Answer This Question

It is located on the back of the solar panel. I tried to include a photo for you, but couldn't. If you look at the item photos, you can barely see the switch.

I removed the battery and want to buy correct charger for it. The battery is a FLATOP Lifepo4 18500 3.2 V 800mhAh 3.2Wh All the chargers seem to only be for the button type of battery. They are not really chargeable?? Or are they? Be honest.

              Answer This Question

Look for a single-cell LiFePO4 charger on Amazon, eBay, or your favorite electronics retailer; there are hundreds. While you're at it, you might as well get a 'battery analyzer' instead; that way you can check the battery and measure its capacity.

They are recharged by the sun, not a plug in charger. Yours may be old & not holding a full charge. Try wiping off contacts & reinserting. Position solar panel for optimal storage during the day. HD sells a 2 pack for $20.

                    Surprise, Surprise!
Personally, I do not foresee these so called spotlights lasting longer than two seasons. I have seen reviews about the lens becoming cloudy or moisture buildup. Well, there is a very good reason. The lens are removable. So naturally, they are not sealed. Let’s face it. These are solar powered spotlights, and everyone’s experiences are going to be different. I set mine up tonight. Since it rained all day, they did not have any sun exposure. Looks like a flash light w/ a weak battery.

                      50 Lumens 6 pack spotlights
I bought the pack in October 2022 to light up a pathway but they stopped working after 6 months use. They are awesome when they work but I would go with a better brand. I had different issues with each. From the solar panel lifting to the light lense falling all the time. I tried to use the 1 year manufacturer warranty but was denied because they are considered damaged and not defective.

                        Bright garden light
I have two and bought four but seeing how they light. I have had many sets of garden lights over the years but the light was probably softer and more diffuse. They are good for lighting stairs but I need to try tipping up to light from underneath BUT still get enough light to charge it during the day each day.

Great light for a great price
I purchased these on sale last season and couldn't find them again. They came on sale again this year and i bought 8. These lights give off a great warm white light and last many hours. Being 55 lumens these are very bright compared to many other companies. I would definitely recommend these even at full price.

GREAT LIGHTS (See more on IG: pisces2_21 )
I've been using these solar lights for years. Great quality and they are strong enough to light up my large palm trees. They come on at sunset and last for several hours. I mix the solar lights with low voltage lighting and after a few years, when they stop working, I just buy another one at less than $10 per light. See more on my Instagram: @pisces2_21

                            O/S spot lights
I decided to buys these spotlights due to price and have been absoutley happy ever since. I have them under my maple tree, on front of house, and by many tall trees plus around patio fire pit. I have not encountered any problems and it has been a year going into 2nd year. Their bright enough, save on electricity and make the landscaping look beautiful at night. I conti ue to buy more to highlight yard. Its worth the purchase.

                            Bright Spot Light!
This little spot light is bright and covers a wide area! I have it placed in front of the double window in the front. I have an older one placed at the far right window.
