It's not a solid piece of wood, so no. I'd be wary of chemicals from the glues and finish leaching into the food.

Can these be used as a bathroom vanity top? I am confused - one answer said not recommended and another has information for how to cut the top for a sink. So, can they be used or can they not be used as a bathroom vanity?
If you read the description, you won't need to wait for a random internet stranger to answer a question. It's particle board with a birch veneer. You can use it in a bathroom but it'll fail just like any other particle board would.
Engineered worktops can be used in kitchens but not in bathrooms where humidity is much higher.
