9.8-Watt Millennium Black Adjustable Light Color Outdoor Integrated LED Landscape Spot Light

I bought these because of the good reviews. Out of the box while assembling the first one the adjustment screw broke. Being kind of a handy person I made it work. More than impressed with the color change selection on these lights. They are plenty bright and a picture will be attached. I just wish the rest of the hardware was a well made as the light housing.

Awesome, sturdy lights that can be used for a variety of purposes. I've used them to illuminate our rose garden at night. I've just recently purchased more to fabricate up-down lights on our queen palm trees that make our backyard look like a resort! These lights are low on consumption but high on performance. The all-metal casings are sturdy and attractive. Let your imagination be your guide to beautify your yard with these lights.

My wife and I absolutely love these Hampton Bay LED Color Changing Spot Lights. This is our second one. A while back we received the 75 watt equivalent one and used it to light up our big huge tree in the middle of the yard and wanted something similar to up light the tree over in the corner. We really didn't want something so bright as the 75 watt equivalent though so this one being the 50 watt equivalent was perfect! As you can see in my attached pictures it lights up the whole trees trunk and the canopy perfectly. The fact that you can change the color of the light from a nice warm white color (2700K) to a softer white (3000K) to a bright white (4000K) makes these lights perfect for just about everyone. We like to use the bright white setting (4000K) for our trees which brings out so much more detail in the trunk and the leaves on the tree which makes it much more enjoyable to look at. We like to sit in our hot tub late in the evening with all the back yard lights on and listen to music and have a glass of wine and having all the trees up lit just really adds another dimension to how beautiful all the trees really are. I've always admired peoples homes who have trees or areas of their yard up lit and it's really great to now have it in our own back yard. This light has a 40* beam angle and a beam distance of 20 ft. which is perfect for our corner tree. It's probably about 20 to 25 ft. tall and this just makes that tree look fantastic when it's up lit. The one great thing I love about these spot lights is I will never have to change out a bulb in my spot lights ever again. I used to keep a small box of the 10 watt and 20 watt halogen bulbs in the garage and that is now a thing of the past. These LED bulbs will probably out last my lifetime. This spot light consumes 9 watts of electricity and puts out the equivalent of a 50 watt bulb. The light output is rated at 400 lumens and comes with a 5 year warranty. This light couldn't have been any easier to install. Since I already have a low voltage lighting system in our backyard that goes clear around the perimeter. I was able to dig up the buried low voltage wiring and remove the old spot light that was there. I then simply squeezed the new connector onto the low voltage wiring and then wrapped it tightly in black electrical tape to help keep the elements away from the contacts. All in all it took less than 5 minutes to remove and install the new spot light. The fit and finish of this spot light is fantastic. I can't honestly tell if it is painted or powder coated but either way the finish feels very thick and slightly textured. The way you can adjust the angle of the spot light is perfect for lighting up a sign or for pointing it straight up to light up a tree canopy like us. If you do mount the spot light pointing straight up they put a small slit in the cone around the face of it to drain water away so it wouldn't pool up on the glass. The engineers really thought of everything when they designed this spot light. With the exception of one or two lights in our backyard we have slowly over time converted all our back yard lighting from halogen to LED and it looks fantastic. I can't wait to get the last one or two done so we will be complete. If you are looking to light up a sign, a wall or a tree this Hampton Bay spot light is perfect.

Slowing working my way around the house lighting up the walls with wash lights. We have chosen the Hampton Bay LED low voltage light to use as they are energy efficient and all work well together with the Hampton bay transformer. This particular 'spot' light is used for a small area as it has a 40 degree beam angle. It lights up the gate, wall and pathway well. We use the middle temperature setting (3000K) for a nice warm look. So far these lights have worked well.

easy to connect and good lighting

These were replacement lights for some older low voltage lights that I had for many years, which were also Hampton's. These are LEDs so they use less power but have the same output and wattage. They also have adjustable lumens so you can adjust the warmth of the light to your own likings. Installation was quick and simple and I look forward to many years of use from these lights
