Left blade arm screw will not catch
Left side slots of fan motor do not seem to be threaded so only the right side of the two blade are screws are catching and screwing in. I've tried every blade are and every motor slot only the right side screw catches and screws in . Very disappointed

Globe wasn’t drilled right
I bought this fan back in November after renovating my house. The holes drilled in the globe are off center so the globe now sits tilted. I called the company, and they were sending out a replacement. It’s now May and I still have not received it.

I really can't speak for ease of install as I had a pro do it - they had to futz with feeding the VERY LONG (but easily shortened) chains thru the glass more than I expected. I actually had a little trouble finding a good, large ceiling fan WITHOUT remote control. There's switches on the wall that won't get lost like a remote, which too often ends up velcroed to the wall where the switches are. The flat-white finish takes some getting used to as so many similar products have been gloss for years, but sure beats the gold-and glass monstrosity it replaced. It's definitely silent (though it replaced a VERY old fan that was silent-no-longer) and maybe it's just the use of an 18" downrod or maybe it's the upsize from the traditional 52" up to 60", but it moves a ton more air. Would I buy it again? If there was a need and the decor worked, but there's no-place else in the house with a need.

no bueno
Bought this ceiling fan for living room. From day one it would work for a few minutes then no air. The blades are screwed in with rubbbber gaskets between them that allow the blades to move. They have some kind of spring at the back of the blade that is suppose to push up the blade , but it doesnt keep the blade from moving. So basically when you turn it on high you get air then the blade shift to to propeler status the the air dissapears. Tried many fixes to no avail. Returning and have aready bought a replacement

Great ceiling fan. Makes a huge difference in our 20 x 25 living room compared to the old smaller fan we had. Air volume is much increased. I'm looking forward to fall here in Florida where we can open the doors up and utilize fans rather than the a/c. We did notice that by leaving this fan on a low setting, we were able to up the thermostat to 77 from 75 with no noticeable difference in temp.
