How hot does the table top gets when the sun hits it.

AnswersYes, because it is metal, it does get hot. It should be under cover or umbrella.
If you don’t want to use the umbrella can you remove the metal cylinder that comes up from the base?

AnswersYES! Mine was just a plastic tube that came only partially connected with a bolt. I had to screw it in to secure the tube. It only looks like welded on metal, but it is not and would be simple to remove. Perhaps earlier editions of this table were all metal, but mine definitely came with a plastic tube that was optional.

This is a review of the Beacon Park Brown 48 in diameter round steel table. It was probably the easiest piece of furniture I have ever put together. The table looks great. I really like the "wood" texture. It is really heavy, so no worrying about it blowing over. It has a hole in the middle and a bracket in the legs for an umbrella. The only possible downside, is that the dark color is going to make it pretty warm in direct sunlight.

Bought the table in April, was missing the piece to attach the legs together Contacted call centre. Have had to call and email numerous times. It is August still no part sent. Have what should be a beautiful table set up on deck, instead it is just lying there. Have had amazing customer service reps and horrible ones who have not listened and hung up on me.

Cardboard box holding table was destroyed,obviously opened and re-taped many times before. Upon inspection, all parts seemed to be there, and table seemed to be in good shape. After removing everything at home, small dent in side of table, and missing bottom attachment plate was discovered. Had to self-fabricate the missing attachment plate, not a huge deal but time consuming. Had read reviews of this piece missing so was sadly ready to fix the issue myself.
