I just unboxed these and the powder on the table is chipping everywhere. Im going to see what home depot will do as these are non-returnable.

This is a great looking set at the price. I do have one big tip. Please use a ratchet set to setup. You will need it. The small tools it brings were not helpful. It took us about two hours to setup.

Assembly went smoothly- a lot of strings to deal with while zipping the cushions. We LOVE the set! Perfect size for our patio. Very well made!! We had to wait for 6 weeks before it arrived that was disappointing.

I am impressed with the quality and comfort BUT one of the cushion covers was ripped and on the last chair the holes aren’t drilled correctly to line up for assembly. Basically we have a three chair patio dining set. I have talked with Hampton Bay probably five or six times to see when I’ll get the cushion cover and a replacement part for the fourth chair and no one seems to know and no one will call me back. Since it’s sold out now who knows what will happen!! I should have spent more and bought at a local patio place.

Very nice, high quality, patio dining set!! First and foremost, the assembly... for the most part, it was quick and easy; all the parts went together without any alignment problems. The one thing I found to be frustrating was that the instructions didn't indicate the orientation of the chair seat panel so here's a handy hint: There's a small tab on the bottom center rail (see photo). In order for the chair to rock properly, that tab should face the back of the chair, not the front. Other than that, assembling the chairs is pretty straightforward. The first one took about 40 minutes (being extra cautious to follow instructions), but after that first one, the others only took about 15 minutes each. The table assembly is pretty much just a matter of attaching the legs. I also must praise Hampton Bay for including the little ratchet tool (see photo) in addition to the regular hex wrench. That tool made easy work of several places where using the hex wrench would have have led to excessive cursing!! Plus, now I have this handy little tool for other assembly projects. Although it's not a huge deal, I was disappointed with the interior of the cushion cover fabric around the zipper... there were strings everywhere from the non-sewn, cut fabric edges unraveling, which made both inserting the inserts and zipping the covers closed somewhat frustrating. It should also be noted that the cushion covers are included with the set, but they ship and arrive separate from the table and chairs. That said, the set does seem to be very solidly constructed and should hold up very well for many years to come. There's a lot of pieces and parts that may seem a bit intimidating as first, but it goes pretty quickly once you get the hang of it. Oh, and I strongly recommend having an assembly helper. It can be done with just one person, but there are several steps that would be much easier (and faster) with two people!!

This is a very VERY heavy set. Thats important to us in hurricane alley but it.may be difficult for one person to assemble. An extra set of hands is recommended. The finish is a powder coat, completely free of any defects, scratches or marks. Each piece is wrapped perfectly for perfection. I was unable to assemble my chairs because I am waiting on replacement parts. This does come packaged in three separate boxes so please be there when it's dropped off and count them. At present, I am awaiting the complete set. I like the height and color of the table. It feels very substantial and a good height for eating. This is also great for smaller spaces, the legs take up a smaller footprint so you can pull thr chair further in than a.more bulky table. Nice! I included a picture of.all the bolts for the table assembly. It's a simple, easy build, just heavy!!

We received the set today. It was quite late getting here because of COVID-19, not anything that could have been helped. My hubby is almost finished putting it all together right now. He said the instructions are great and the packaging is great and it’s super easy, so he’s super happy about that. I’m loving the metal and I love the color.mits absolutely stunning and looks like a million bucks.

This is an extremely comfortable, elegant, and well made set! I have assembled a lot of patio furniture over the years, and immediately I could tell this set is in a different class. The all metal framework of the chairs and table parts fit together snugly. I like the fact that all the screws and bolts have covers for them to protect them from the elements and add to the finished look. Oh, and on the topic of assembly, included in the box is a ratchet driver that eases the tightening of all the screws. It took me about 3 hours to fully assemble the set. The chairs are extremely comfortable and have a nice rocking give to them. The high quality plush cushions come in a variety of colors and are nice and deeply padded. The seat cushion is about 3 and a half inches and the back pillows are extremely plush and deep to sink back into. The cushions also as expected for this quality have tie backs that anchor to the chair. Another note is that the chair arm height is slightly below the table height which is great for those that like to tuck right up to the table and not be seated farther back. Overall this is a very high quality set of customizable outdoor furniture that will provide years of comfort and durability based on the construction and craftsmanship.

I will be enjoying lots of dinners on the Hampton Bay Braxton Par 5 piece black steel outdoor patio dining set. The set itself is very nice and well made. It took my husband and I about 4 hours to put together. The directions were easy to follow and it came with everything you need for assemble. The black steel chairs and table are gorgeous and sturdy. The chair cushions are so soft and I love the stone grey color and that it repels spills, stains, and fading. Just a overall gorgeous piece for your patio or backyard.

This is a great set of patio furniture. I love the style and I love being able to gently rock in a comfy chair while relaxing on the deck. The black goes with any color and looks very sharp. The slip covers are sort of a heather gray that should hide the occasional fleck of dirt, which is to be expected outside, though they are washable. The table top is a very nice, safe alternative to glass, which always seem to break eventually. The plank-like texture is the perfect way to break up a flat metal look. The only problem I can imagine is that it could be too small for some families if you're accustomed to large, family style portions of food sitting on the table. There's plenty of room for four individual plates though. Assembly went smoother than I had anticipated. The chairs all arrived in one 146 lb box, and it looked like it was going to be a daunting task as first glance. However, after assembling the first chair, the next three went together real quick. Installation tip: Use your own ratchet wrenches.
