A: No, we did not have that problem. However, the little extrusions that hold the leaves is thin metal. A careful tap with a hammer right in the middle should deform it enough to hole the leaves tightly.
A: Mine worked out great!
A: I ordered two of these and some of the leaves were either a little loose or were tough to shove into the base. I used a screwdriver to loosen the openings that were too small. I don't think my loose ones will fall out, but you might just secure them by putting a little silicone sealant into the base slot and reinsert the leaf. Let the silicone (or other waterproof adhesive) dry for 24 hours before putting it back outside.
A: No, I didn't experience that, but is it possible that you didn't PUSH the narrow end of the leaf far down into the slot? My experience with a couple of the leaves was some difficulty getting the leaf into the slot. Or far down enough into the slot so that the leaf wouldn't come out! I used the flat end of a screwdriver to pry the slot open just a little bit more to firmly jam the leaf end down into it.
A: Yes, at first when putting them together a few seemed loose, an swapped a few around and then noticed they weren't pushed all the way down.
A: It's solar
A: Not that I know of. Contact seller.
A: It's solar. No wire needed.
A: Hi NYB, we do not offer an extension wire or longer wire for the Bromeliad Brown Plant Solar LED Light on Homedepot.com. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot

A: Yes, you can use this on a patio.
A: Yes, I could be used in a deeper pot.
A: I do have mine in a pot rather than stuck in the ground. It actually feels more like a flower and I actually added the Bird of Paradise solar light with it. Looks great.
A: Yes. I have a couple in a pot on my deck, but I also have them in the ground in my flowerbed.
