I have a large front yard garden filled with solar garden stakes! The more unusual the better, so this 'bromeliad' solar light really fits the bill :) I've had it just over a month and it's still on the same battery. We've only had a handful of really bright sunny days during this past month, and it still lights up at night. Assembly-wise, it is necessary to put the green leaves in their metal 'slots' on the flower stalk. Most of them went in their slot with ease, but there were a couple of 'em where I had to widen up the slot just a bit with a screwdriver to get the leaf in. Rather than plunk this bromeliad in the ground, I chose to 'plant it' in a large decorative pot filled with dirt/soil. I just place the sun catcher/battery off to the side of the pot. It's unusual and a fun piece to have in the yard/garden!

My little paradise
I purchased several of these, along with Trendscape Bird of Paradise. I live in Minnesota, but travel to thw Carribean regularly. I have received numerous compliments on them. They light up with brilliant colors, but not obnoxiously bright.
