Asked by Michael April 8, 2020Most of the decorative ones seem to be pretty thin and best for low traffic areas.you might consider some heavier duty, non-adjustable vents or possibly wood registers. Or you could just get a few extra for replacements. We have 1 in a problem area and I just straighten up the scrolls on a regular basis.

Are these flush with the floor?
Asked by Ang December 31, 2019No. What holds the register in place is the shutter mechanism and frame that extends about 4" into the floor and a lip that is roughly 1" wider than the mechanism. The lip sits above the floor by about 1/8". The lip slopes to the floor so as not to be a trip hazard. '
are there return covers available with the same finish and design? I can only find the floor registers
