Poorly constructed.
When installing this light the lampshade connection is off center, making it impossible to get the shade on. Disappointing lack of quality for a light fixture of this cost. I will be returning this.

Shades are angled upward, dim lighting
This fixture is disappointing. Light shades are angled up slightly toward the front making the bulbs too visible. Shades create dark shadow above fixture, and do not light my small powder room very well. May return.

Modern, Beach Cottage
I really love the updated style of this light fixture in our bathroom. I bought 2 to go over our separate vanities in the master bathroom to replace the old 90s Hollywood lightbulb style lights. Installation was very simple: minimal assembly of the shades to the fixture, remove the old light fixture, patch the previous holes in the drywall, paint the drywall, place drywall anchors for the mounting plate (not included), screw in the mounting plate, attach and cap the wires, and attach and secure the fixture to the mounting plate. Each one took 45 min to an hour mostly because of having to patch and paint our drywall. I love the retro look. The shades can either point up or down. We placed them down and I like it, but went with 60 watt equivalent LED soft light light bulbs. I had initially tried 100 watt but they were too bright for our space.

Charming Nickel and Blue vanity light. Gives a little "Pop" to a bathroom
I found this very charming. I thought it would be a bit brighter blue than it is - its almost a Navy blue to my eye. It is 38 inches wide at the widest point. The shades are about 8 inches in diameter. It sits very close to the wall - only about 1/2-inch between the shades and the wall, so don't expect to put it in front of any sort of framed mirror (I will put it a little above our mirror). It came mostly assembled, just had to put the shades on. It does not come with any bulbs - I will use dimmable LEDs. I think it will look very cool with a vintage type LED bulb where you can see the fake filament. The inside of the shades is painted white for good color rendering. It does come with a universal mounting plate that should fit many types of wall boxes.

Hampton Bay Elmcroft 18.25 in. 2-Light Brushed Nickel Bath Vanity Light
We have a small writing desk that has a small lamp for lighting. It isn't enough and we didn't have enough room to put a bigger light fixture. So, I used an exsiting outlet to get power for this vanity light. See photos.
Installing the light was quick and easy because it comes with all the tools and parts you need. The only thing missing are the light bulbs.
You have to disassemble the mounting rings in order to install the glass shades. see photos.
I love the glass and wire cage combo for the shade.
They have stab blocks for connecting the power wires. NOTE: Only the middle hole will release a wire. The outside holes will not release.

Beautiful Colors and Fantastic Vintage Design
This is a classic design that doesn’t age; it looks right at home in our newly-remodeled home that features a vintage industrial swan light; our 80-year-old outdoor sign light fixture and this brand new fixture complement each other perfectly. The proportions of this vanity lamp are very good, and they project out from the wall a perfect amount in front of the mirror to provide nice light on the face.
After seeing the slate blue color with the brushed nickel, I am tempted to add this fixture under our covered patio over the sink–it’s beautiful! I like slate blue a lot.
The finish is flawless, with a brushed nickel body and a slate blue shade (inside of shade is white). Assembly is easy, installation is straightforward. It comes with everything needed. Fits any wall box on the planet, and if holes don’t match up perfectly to make the wall bracket exactly vertical (top and bottom set screws to affix fixture to wall bracket), simply drill the location needed. I did that for one hole in the fixture. Easy peasy.
Perfect shape, size, and brushed nickel finish match all the door handles and faucets in our home, with Slate Blue complementing the other colors in the home and the clean, white interior of the shade matches our ceilings. I am a big fan of the Elmcroft line of lights by Hampton Bay.
