Geneva 5-Piece Woven Outdoor Patio Conversation Deep Seating Set with Oatmeal Cushions

Great set for the price. Easy to put together, sturdy, comfortable and doesn't look cheap. The only issue is that even though it sits outside under a covered porch, the cushions started showing black mold spots that won't come out after only a few weeks. :(

I hate having to put stuff together. And especially expensive stuff. It seems like it should be somebody else's job. This set took a good 3 + hours to assemble, not counting breaks to rest my aching back. Instructions are fine, and assembly is pretty straightforward. Once together, finally, it's a very nice heavy duty set, & looks very attractive. The table sits a little higher than I expected. Tabletop is somewhat thin and easily dents. The chairs are fairly heavy once assembled. The cushion fabric has a bit of a waterproof feel to it, though not enough to just leave them outdoors all the time...you will want to remove them in bad weather, or cover them. The chairs rock a little, not a whole lot. The first chair I sat in felt like it was pushing me out. The second one was a little better, the third one a little better, and the fourth one the most comfortable, with just enough backward lean & rocking action. Bottom line, I’m disappointed...they're not as comfortable as I thought they would be. Note: Recycling for this product consists of a large quantity of heavy cardboard, many plastic bags, and some foam styrofoam. Please recycle.

Now we have a lovely seating area! I decided to get this set, because the living room wasn't being used and the couch wouldn't hold more than two people comfortably; we sold the couch and replaced it with this set. Since we have pets, the sturdy frames and easy to clean pillow covers will work perfectly for us. Note: the seat pillows have ties to hold them in place, the back pillows do not. They also have zippers for easy removal. We tested out these comfy chairs last year (relaxed and rocked in them for 45 mins!) at our local Home Depot and this year decided to use these in place of the never used couch. It was easy to put together, all parts and tools are included (we did however change over to a ratchet to speed up the install). The chairs went together without an issue, but the table had two legs that were not threaded properly and we had to work for a while on them to get the screws to completely tighten. They are described as outdoor, but they work best inside for us!

I was very excited to get this outdoor set for my backyard. I had one that was getting very old and dull in comparison to my renewed yard. The set came in a huge, heavy package almost impossible to move. We had to unbox immediately to bring it inside piece by piece, which was a relatively easy task. Easy to put together, and I did it on my own, but I suggest some use two people because it requires some lifting. The entire assembly took me around two hours, and even though the product comes with its tools, I used my battery-operated power drill. If I had used the provided tools, it would have taken 3-4 hours. The instructions include details images that are easy to understand and follow. I used the shipping carton, and I laid it on the floor to avoid scratching the metal furniture. After all that work, I was super glad everything was level and steady. Once we set it up, this outdoor set made a wonderful addition to my yard. The chairs' deep seats are perfect for a relaxing time outside. Also, the chairs do rock a little. The cushions are comfortable and spacious. They do, however, require a lot of space. The table is a good size and fits well with the chairs. The wood color is beautiful and looks awesome with the green plants that surround it in my backyard. Overall, I'm very pleased with this set!!

I absolutely love Hampton Bay's Geneva 5-Piece Conversation Set with pretty oatmeal cushions. The deep seating chairs are extra sturdy with gentle rockers and feels so luxurious to lounge in the plushy cushions. The exquisitely antiqued finish on the patio furniture is simply stunning and looks like an oil rubbed, medium oak stain. Weather-resistant wicker backs match the chair's earthy finish and really compliment the tabletop on the coffee table. Oh, my goodness. I tried to capture in pictures the true beauty of the conversation set in real life. Assembly is so straightforward and common sense. Their engineers did an amazing job in creating this outdoor furniture. High quality steel frame, pretty cushions, and you can feel the durability when you sit down on it. This is a 10-star patio conversation set and positively perfect in every way.

A gorgeous 5 piece grouping! Well-made, easy to assemble in 2.5 hours, and deep cushions. Finish is a brush-painted look in a coffee-with-cream color that blends nicely with the cushions and the simulated woven wicker trim (it is plastic, not real wicker). Table top is slightly thin and easily dented, a minor issue unless subject to hard use. Grouping looks nice on a covered deck but would not be recommended for long-term exposure outdoors to the elements due to design and materials used for construction. Ships in 2 large boxes (table in 1, chairs in the other) that will fit on a small pickup truck bed but not in an SUV.

When I'm out looking for outdoor furniture, I have to see a stylish, well build, functional set that I can put anywhere in the yard or on the deck and I want to see Quality that will last for years in all sorts of weather, That's what I get with this HAMPTON BAY Geneva 5-piece Swivel Woven outdoor Patio set !! I love the 4 large rocking motion captain chairs, deep set for sitting back in, large soft Oatmeal colored cushions, so comfortable and the distressed wood-like metal look makes this a Great Buy and you get a large 45 in. round metal coffee table to sit around and entertain friends !! The 4 chairs come in one huge box and the table in another and you'll want help putting this set together, it will take about an hour or more, but, I have not seen a nicer 5-piece set out there that matches the Quality of this set, it makes my yard looks Better and it's a Great conversation piece !! I just Love the Look !!

Wow. This set has exceeded my expectations! This is a nice patio set that we put in our outdoor lanai. It is in the covered part, so minimal sun. I put this set together in about an hour. All the holes lines up perfectly. Cushions are a nice neutral beige/oatmeal color. Nice size chairs and they are comfortable. They don’t swivel, they gently rock-as description says they swivel. Only issue I have was the table is there are a few noticeable popped up dents that I have to call and hopefully get replaced.

First thinks first. This set is awesome. I mean this in so many ways. The finish look almost real and is a high quality very hard surface. The frame is made of carbon steel and is welded together. The individual peace's are connected with high quality hardened steel bolts. The cushions are made of high quality water resistant heavy duty cloth which will last generations if well maintained. I wish I could give you some photos of the set completely put together but I live in New Hampshire and I just cleaned up one storm and we have another on the way. I can't wait for Spring so I can put it together and try it out. I hope this helps with your decision. Good luck with all your projects.

If you buy this set on-line, when it’s delivered and you see the truck driver use a hydraulic lift and a pallet jack to get the two (2) palletized boxes off the truck, you know immediately that this isn’t your everyday aluminum lawn chair set. The parts for this set are well protested and securely packed, but you have to unpack the box where they deliver it, as it’s too heavy to move without a pallet jack. I unpacked he box in my driveway by carefully removing the top, cutting all four corners of the side of the box, and removing the sides. The bulk of the construction is fully welded, square, heavy-wall, seamless steel tubing. There are a couple of bolted joints in the chair bases plus the ones you make during assembly. The table consists of six (6) parts, and four (4) chairs consist of five (5) parts each. The table comes in a separate carton containing the table top, four (4) height adjustable table legs, and a leg cross brace. The table, legs and cross brace are easily screwed together with the allen screws provided. The chairs come in five (5) parts. The back, seat, two (2) arms, and the base and legs in a bolted assembly. They are easily assembled attaching the back to the seat first with the allen screws provided, then the two (2) arms to the back and seat, again with allen screws. And finally the base and legs with the 13mm bolts provided. Everything is either sized or fitted so you can’t make a mistake. The chairs are rugged and built using fully welded, square, heavy-wall, seamless steel tubing and flat bar steel. The joints under the most stress when in use are gusseted for additional strength. A word of caution though. If you ever assembled pre-fabricated things like this you already know this, but if you haven’t, then this applies to you. When assembling the back, seat and arms, tighten the screws only finger tight, once all the holes line up and all of the screws are in place and are finger tight, then and only then, can you turn Godzilla lose with the allen wrench. Otherwise you’ll never get all the holes to line up. The wicker material used in the chair backs is not your usual wicker material. It’s some kind of synthetic material that’s supposed to be weather resistant. The seat and back cushions are beautifully thick, plush, and comfortable, and really make the set. They are really too nice to put outside. All the pre-fabricated parts fit and line up quite well. The only problems I had in the assembly were with screw length and the tapped holes. All of the parts are tapped to receive the screws or bolts provided. The tapped holes in the square tubing are in the long axis of a short section of round rod that is welded in the tubing wall to increase the wall thickness. The end of most of the tapped rods are raised about 1/16 of an inch above the tube surface. I had one that was below the tube surface and screw provided was too short. Luckily I haven’t thrown a fastener of any kind away in 60 years, so I had an exact size metric screw that was a little longer and worked. The other problem I had was that the manufacturer either used a dull tap or welded the tubing inserts in after they were tapped. The result was that a few screws (not all, but a few) required lubrication and extra torque to fully engage them. They weren’t tight enough to break the screw however. The set includes extra screws, two (2) allen wrenches, and a 13mm combination open end and box wrench which are adequate for the assembly. I found it more convenient to use my extended allen wrench with a handle and a ratcheting wrench. This is a very rugged, well made, and attractive, real furniture, patio set that anyone should be proud to display, and it’s not hard to assemble.
