The Hampton Bay Geneva Chaise Lounge came in a large box, disassembled. All pieces were well packaged and protected. The process for putting it all together took a bit longer than expected, around 30 minutes, but was otherwise easy. The included instructions were simple to follow. The chaise lounge itself looks great. The metal is light weight, and painted to match the wicker backing. Unfortunately the cushions cover the wicker up completely, so it's not getting the appreciation it deserves. The back is adjustable, and the lounge itself if very comfortable. The pillow cushions came included with the lounge, but the covers were shipped separately. There was no issue putting the covers on the cushions. SUMMARY A good looking, sturdy and comfortable patio chaise lounge. Simple assembly.

This chaise lounge is a super-duper product. I am so excited about the lazy, hazy days of summer getting here so I can take it up outside and enjoy it as often as I think I will be doing. The frame is metal painted to resemble wood with a nice finish on it. The back is adjustable from laying flat to an almost sitting straight up position. It is made of quality materials and the cushions are very nice and it appears they are sturdy enough to endure outdoors for a good, long time.

we wanted a new chaise lounge for our patio. this one looked like a good value and we liked the style so we ordered it. it arrived in four days, very well packed and in perfect condition. the first thing i noticed is the heavy gauge frame. it needs to be assembled and the directions are very clear. the hardware and tool are clearly marked. assembly tool less then 30 minutes and after we were done, we were very happy. it is high quality and comfortable. we will put it outside this spring. we love it.

This is hands down a really great patio chaise lounge. It was not too difficult to assemble all by myself but did take a little longer than I had anticipated. It is quite sturdy and strong and the design and craftsmanship are easy to see and feel once you complete the assembly. The cushions and slip covers are also very well made and because this chaise lounge is a little heavier I will not have to worry about most winds. I’m very pleased with it and would recommend.

This Chaise Lounge is made of steel and is supposed to be rust and weather resistant. It appears to be solid and durable. The cushions are comfortable. The cushion slipcovers are removeable, washable, fade and stain resistant. Assembly was fairly easy. The wicker design matches the rest of our outdoor furniture. I also ordered the matching side table. It made a perfect gift for my wife who loves sunbathing. Since I received it in December, all we need now is a little warmth and sunshine so she can enjoy it.

The Hampton Bay Geneva patio chaise lounge is really a well made and functional lounge chair. The frame is steel and is well supported with two braces. The back has multiple adjustments for just the right angle for comfort. The cushions and covers are well made and the beige covers really compliments our other deck furniture. The brown wicker back is a nice touch. I definitely recommend this lounge chair for it's great quality and attractive appearance.

This is a phenomenal quality of design and materials used chaise lounge. The frame material seems heavy and sturdy. the slats have been reinforced at all load bearing points mid section by cross beams. Visual inspection of all weld points shows excellent attention to detail and although none of them were grinded, all of them seems to have been completed very well. The package arrived in a rough shape but inside, all items were well secured and foam protected. Putting it together was very easy, following the instructions that were very clear and cross referenced to the hardware included and section of the contents. All holes were precise and matching. Holes seem to have been either laser cut or drilled which adds to more expensive item, but yet they lack this annoying indentation or recesses where the machine have press-drilled the tube. There are other design solutions for the connecting points, such as friction-welded nuts, which have not been used on the version I got, but have been used on other more expensive product lines of HB. Still, all welding was done very precisely and with good quality. The back has 6 positions, not including the completely flat, from almost 90 degrees to about 23 degrees incline. Point of contact of the support beam is cushioned by a plastic sleeve which is a nice touch adding to less clunky way of changing the incline. Since frame is all steel, rust proofing is extremely important, and I noticed there have been added drain points on all elements. I thought that they could've been double - at both ends of the frame sides, but I am sure that sufficient draining of water ingress can be achieved with them as well. I was a little disappointed not to see plastic washers for all contact points and strongly recommend that future versions have added plastic or nylon #10 or #6 washers to the assembly kit. I believe those were left out to not add further complexity to the assembly instructions, but I think they are essential in preventing both water ingress to the connection points as well as preventing future squeaking from those points. The latter is inherent to all metal frame furniture such as day beds and such and is always a good point to add such barrier between all connecting points, especially those that bear the loads - 3 of each side of the armrest sections. I was perplexed to find that the UV paint has been applied by bathing type, not electrostatic painting, as it insures rust proofing of the inside of the tubular frame. Legs have about 1/4 inch nylon caps that may be susceptible to being dragged across concrete surface, but are hard enough to withstand a hot sunbeaten patio pad. Pillows are thick and provide plenty of support with excellent draining. The covers are acrylic UV resistant and sewn with extremely fine attention to detail and YKK zippers. Both pillows have velcro straps to secure them to the frame. Washing them at non-spin cycle is enough to keep them clean, drip dry is sufficient to have them ready to use in about an hour. It is a great, sturdy and high quality item worth every penny. Best combined with an umbrella of a matching tan color.

You had our house at Sunbrella material. The lounger is a bonus and appears to be very heavy duty in construction also. You can see in the pictures the framing under the lounger itself and again appear to be the correct size and strength for the job at hand. I have not set up this lounger chair with cushions yet as we just got a boat load of snow here in Chicago area. I will be putting this together as soon as I can and will use it here for about 6 months each year.

It’s pretty and comfortable but the back cushion goes on with the zipper exposed. That is the only way it fits.
