Glenridge Falls 7-Piece Metal Outdoor Dining Set with Wood Finish Table and Rocking Sling Chairs in Putty

If you love screws and bolts that not only strip out, heads pop off, holes that don't line up and scratches EVERYWHERE on the surface? Then this table set is for you!!! I would return this piece excrement but I literally can't take it apart. Too bad I can only upload one single photo, you would really enjoy the seeing the rest of it!

Beautiful set, but I have 2 complaints. #1 - We've only had our set since March 2022. We've just started noticing discoloring of the chair material at the top of the chair backs on all 6 chairs. We have chaise lounges with the same material and no discoloration has ever occurred on those. #2 - The chairs have nicely padded seats, but they do hold water when sitting on after being in the pool. I can deal with that, but the discoloration is a problem. I will be contacting customer service tomorrow as this should be covered under the warranty.

The take is too light to hold down an umbrella in light breezes and causes damage to the umbrella hole and surrounding area. only had it fire a week before this occurred. There needs to be a support bracket engineered under the umbrella hole to prevent this. Very disappointed that my new set is already visibly damaged.

Good quality table and chairs. Easy to assemble also.

The chairs are beautiful, with the fabric being a lovely fresh Aloe color. It offers the space a good balance of hues without being too bold. They are quite bouncy! They're sturdy, yet springy. If you want a solid chair, or one that rotates, look elsewhere. Assembly of the chairs takes a looooong time. There are quite a number of screws for each one. The Table look and feels great, with the metal top rocking a faux wood finish. It does seem a bit on the not-sturdy side of the spectrum; I wouldn't be jumping up on it any time soon. Make sure to screw those legs on tight! Also, the umbrella hole in the center of the table hole was a little discolored; i don't know why that is. I imagine if you put an umbrella in there mounted to a sturdy base, it will strengthen the table a bit as well. The packaging was great, with each piece separately wrapped in foam wrap. Once assembled, there were a few scratches on one edge of the table, but nothing really to write home about. The chairs were perfect. SUMMARY: A really nice looking patio dining set. Chairs are bouncy, and table could be a bit stronger. Assembly takes a long time, but in the end it's worth it!

The Hampton Bay Glenridge Falls is a 7-Piece Metal Outdoor Dining Set. The table has a wood finished metal top and round legs. The chairs are sling type chairs and are aloe color. The table is simple to put together and each leg takes 4 threaded screws to attach to the table bottom. The chairs have a left and right arm that takes 7 threaded screw for each side and three of the screws are different so make sure you place them in the right threaded holes. The set is very nice and I think it will hold up very well on any patio. The chairs take some time (about 20 minutes) to put together due to all the pieces and screws. I attached the cross braces to each arm/leg and then installed the seat. This worked best since the braces held everything together. Don't tighten the screws until they are all started in the respective holes. This set is very well built.

This set of Hampton Bay outdoor dining chairs and table is nice looking, and the chairs are comfortable. Assembly - with six chairs, quite a lot of assembly. Left and Right arms, two cross braces and the seat/back assemblies all have to be bolted together. The table, only needs to have the legs attached. The sling seats are comfortable, and the chairs do “rock” comfortably due to the spring type action of the chair frame. The seat and back are slightly padded, and we like the blue/green (aloe) color. The chairs do hold water when it rains. I thought the water would drain through, but it puddles a little in the seat when raining. The chairs are large and comfortable, and the six do fit under the table, with little room to spare. The table is sturdy and nice looking. This set is a great addition to our patio.

I love sitting in these chairs.the seat is curved just right for comfort whether sitting up to talk, leaning forward to write, or leaning back to relax. I am a little over 5-feet tall so I can lean my head back for a cat nap, and my feet rest flat on the ground. I don’t even need to scootch back to find lumbar support. In fact, my 6-foot husband also finds the chairs exceptionally comfortable, but then he always prefers a light rocking motion (whereas, I usually like to put my feet up). After trying to move the 167-pound box the chairs came in, I was quite concerned that they would be very heavy and awkward to pull out from under the table. However, they move easily. They are heavy enough to stay in place in windy conditions, but not too heavy to move with one hand. Also, they come with plastic feet that glide along our pavers. The table has nice lines, is a comfortable size, and also has plastic feet. Its feet can be adjusted if your patio is uneven, but our table sat firmly with no rocking, right out of the box! I finally figured out that the listing calls this a “heat transfer table” not because it transfers heat, but because it is not a “powder-coated table”. Heat transfer is a production process used to add a coating to the top that makes it look like wood. It does look very much like wood, but better, much harder and flatter. The wood grain is amazingly realistic! This is a very practical table. I was surprised by how much I like having the legs in the four corners instead of a pedestal in the middle. All that open space under the table feels much airier and provides lots of leg-space for all 6 people. I don’t need an umbrella, so I am considering using the central hole for a small, table top, propane fire pit. It was the sling chair design that initially attracted me to this table. The sling chairs are extremely comfortable, and I don’t have to worry about storing, cleaning, and caring for a bunch of big, bulky cushions! I was a little concerned about getting steel furniture because I worry about rust. However, the powder coating protects the steel frames on this set. Also, my patio is surrounded on three sides by my house and fully covered by our roof (a.k.a. California Room). So I really like this dining set -- except for one thing. The listing mentions brown frames, but the set I received very definitely has black frames. My set has the aloe-colored sling seats (which is a beautiful aqua-like color) and black frames. Perhaps the Putty-colored chairs come with dark brown frames. My new patio set is surrounded by rubbed bronze door and window hardware, a rubbed bronze coffee table, and dark brown doors, window frames and pergola. Therefore, I am really disappointed with the black frames on this set. However, I will keep it at least for now because the chairs are so comfortable and the table is just the right size for my space. Also, assembly was tedious, but not difficult. I downloaded the BILT app which has nicely animated instructions, but the assembly process is actually quite straightforward so you don’t really need the BILT app. Just remember to completely assemble each chair loosely, set it upright, jiggle it around a little bit, and then tighten all 14 bolts. Repeating the process for all 6 chairs is a bit tedious. I did the initial assembly using the allen wrench provided, but I pulled out my battery-powered screwdriver with a 4mm allen bit to finish the job. Also, at the very beginning, the BILT video says that you need 2 allen wrenches -- one is packed in the box with the chairs and the other is packed in the box with the table. However, both allen wrenches are identical -- which means there is one for you and one for your buddy. Having a helper makes building all those chairs much more enjoyable. Except for the absurdly heavy weight of the chair box, the packaging is well designed. There is no styrofoam. It is mostly recyclable cardboard with some metal bars, plastic spacers, a few rubbery pads, and lots of soft foam to protect the powder-coating. My set does have some very minor blemishes. One of the chairs had a brazed blob on one of the threaded holes that I removed using my rotary dremel tool (see photo), and the wood look heat transfer ends 1-inch short on one of the rails in the table (see photo).

We love our new patio set! The table is gorgeous–black and wood-look, the table is all powder-coated steel, and the wood slats have a textured grain in them. It looks fantastic! Adjusters on the bottom of each leg are perfect for flagstone patios. It has an umbrella hole, too. The chairs have the same black frame with pretty aloe slings–no pads necessary, no pads blowing around the yard. We’ve eaten dinner outside the last two weeks at this table, and we’re delighted with it! The table wipes down easily, the slatted design allows water to shed off almost immediately, and the raised perimeter frame (black) keeps dishes from sliding off the table. This is a great patio set. I appreciate that the chairs go under the table to get out of the way when we’re not sitting at it. The kids appreciate how stable the chairs are when they climb up into them. My wife appreciates that the table looks like actual furniture, and she now works outside on her laptop sitting at the table some days.
