Harmony Hill 3-Piece Black Steel Outdoor Patio Sectional Sofa with Sunbrella Denim Blue Cushions

Just put this set out on our patio and I do really love it! It’s not a huge set but could definitely comfortably fit 4 people and the tables great. It did come with a couple dents and scuffs on the couch base but other than that, no complaints here!

Nice couch & table! Comfy to set on, easy to assemble. Just purchased for a Rec Room at our RV park that's due to open April 1st.

Hello & thank you for taking the time to check out another of my honest reviews. This time for the Hampton Bay Harmony Hill 3-Piece Black Steel Outdoor Patio Sectional Sofa with Cushion Guard Chili Red Cushions, model: GL-19044-SEC-CR. This set arrives in 2 boxes, 1 small box that contains the cushion covers & a very large box with everything else. Unpacking was easy for me but some might want to cut the box open (carefully so as to not damage the finish on the metal) to remove the pieces. Assembly was easy & took me 7 minutes. The instructions are accurate, clear, easy to follow & understand. The diagrams are a decent size & accurate. All the parts & pieces lined up nicely for me & installed with no issues. The cushion covers could use better stitching. They do a good job of holding the cushions & the cushions fill the covers nicely. The cushions/covers are not waterproof, but they do a great job of letting the water escape & dry quickly after it rains (the time it takes depends on clouds & sun). A couple of hours after a heavy rain & at 53°, the cushions had water in them but my rear end was dry after 10 minutes of sitting when I tested this out (during the summer the drying time will be reduced). The cushions are basic for this price range but are very comfortable & offer plenty of cushion for me (6' @ 204Lbs) while sitting or laying down. I poured mustard on an inconspicuous spot of a cushion cover & let it sit for 5 minutes, cleaned it up & it left no stain. When it comes to the metal benches, my wife, son & I all sat next to each other (471 Lbs.) & bounced around roughly & had no issues with metal bending or anything else, They held up great. I did the same thing with the smaller chair piece & it held up great as well. The welds are not the best but they are satisfactory & should hold up well. The metal strips for the cushions & for support are on the thin side & could be thicker. The finish is done very well & looks great. All the metal on mine is straight & in great condition. The sitting height is good for me. The armrest height is good & the backrest height & angle are good for me as well. The metal for the legs, arms & backrest is of good size & seems to be very strong. The design on the metal is nice. All the leveling adjusters on all the legs operate properly & smoothly. The levelers when extended seem loose (lift table/chair/benches to move - don't slide). The table & it's legs assembled quickly & smoothly. All the metal was straight & without imperfections just like the decorative table top. The table top looks great & is well made like the rest of the table. The color & texture of the table top is also very well done. The only thing I don't like is you can see the rounded metal from the bolt holes on the legs. With all the squares/corners it looks off (see pictures). As for some of my ratings... quality of the metal/hardware = 4 stars. look/finish = 5 stars. Durability = 4 stars. Cushions/covers = 4 stars. In my opinion based on what I received, this is a nice set that I believe will last for several years with proper care & maintenance. It is constructed well, not the best but it's not high end either. So far it is very comfy to kick back on & relax or enjoy a meal with family & or friends on a nice day or night. I have used/tested this for a couple of weeks & am very happy with this set. I love that I can add on & or move things around to change it up every once in a while. My son & I played war (card game) on the table & had plenty of room & the table remained stable. This set has had plenty of use & will definitely get plenty of use in the spring/summer/fall. The Hampton Bay Harmony Hill 3-Piece Black Steel Outdoor Patio Sectional Sofa is a beautiful addition to any patio or deck. The sofa is mostly assembled in the box. The table takes no more than 30 min to assemble. The most difficult task is determining which covers go on which cushions. If the covers were labeled in some way or there were directions, this would be a 5-star review. The cushions are thicker than on most patio furniture. They are comfortable and reasonably firm. We like the steel lattice for the seat frame.

Just received this and assy it within the past week. There was very little assy required. the three (3) section were already assy so you only had to put the legs on the table and put the covers on the cushions. Be careful when removing the wrapping on the furniture, you dont want to scratch the pain since it is steel. Carpet and throw pillow are not included. Now it time to put it away till the end of April

I'm a bit skeptical about how long this set will last when left outdoors. Everything is powder coated black but it's hard to tell how well it was done or how thick the coating is. A lot of the welds did not get properly coated and just from the condensation that forms overnight I have rust already starting. I'm going to try applying a matte clear coat to all of the welds and hope that it's not too late to stop it. The slip covers for the cushions are very thin and poorly made with flimsy plastic zippers. The stitching is terribly done with tons of random pieces of thread left behind. One of the seams has already opened up and we haven't even had a chance to use it yet. The table is somewhat ok. The surface is not tile though so don't be misled by the photos . It's thin steel with a faux tile design printed on it. Someone got lazy while putting it together though and forgot to finish tightening one of the screws. So, I tightened it and then checked and tightened all the others as well. The problems I've seen so far aside, the seats are comfortable to sit in and each leg has an adjustment pad on the bottom so you can level out the seats if you're on an uneven surface.

It really bums me out that I had to give such a nicely designed patio sectional set a lower rating like I did with this one, but it was unavoidable. Starting with every single slip cover that was suffering massive unraveling of the fabric due to the manufacturer not doing a double stitch, which is a very minor increase in cost for the drastic increase in durability. Then I found that they didn't even provide me the correct number of the larger slip covers, forcing me to put one of the long back pillows into a standard/medium size back pillow slip cover which makes it visually look crumpled. It doesn't stop there sadly as during the installation of the table legs I discovered that someone had badly misaligned the steel parts and with the torque they applied they had misaligned an entire corner of 3 bolt holes to the point where 1 bolt required slightly more pressure to secure down and another bolt was impossible to go even halfway down its shaft. Add to the problems that a careless worker touched the tan painted steel on the table with their hands covered in black stain from the main sectional pieces. Still though, I do plan to use this on our patio since it is an improvement from the much cheaper chairs with plastic straps that we keep having to throw out when the straps break from UV damage. As another Seeds reviewer noted, this product did ship in a single large box weighing 200 lbs with an additional smaller 10 lb box containing the slip covers (I'm not sure why they wouldn't just put the bag of slip covers in the main box, or better yet just put the slip covers on the cushions before shipping to ensure the customer gets all the correct pieces. On a very positive note though, this product is very fast to assemble with the sectional framework all pre-assembled and only needing I think it was 6 large plastic clips installed to hold the sectional bases together.

This is a really nice, classy patio set! The seats are very comfortable, and the table is sturdy and stylish. The assembly process was a breeze. The package was delivered in one large box, so make sure you have some help if you need to move it before you assemble it. The main sofa itself requires little assembly (just some clips to secure the three main pieces together). The table legs can be added in just a few minutes with the screws and hex wrench that are included. The only challenge I had was a few extra strings in the slip covers that often got caught in the zippers when trying to zip them up after the cushions had been inserted. Other than that, everything was great!

This is a review of the Hampton Bay Harmony Hill 3-piece black steel outdoor patio sectional sofa with cushion guard chili red cushions. This sectional arrived in one large box with the slip cover (cushion covers) in a separate package. Although the box was large it did not seem large enough to contain all the parts. Indeed it did and the frames were fully assembled. You will be required to add the 4 legs to the coffee table. The coffee table looks really good, looks like a tiled top but is not, making it much lighter and solid. The packaging was tremendous, I was amazed how everything was package so efficiently and effectively. This packaging was so good, the hardest part was to unpackaged all the items. When I see such a great attention to detail given to packaging, I know the product will be drenched in quality. The quality continued with the perfect weld jobs connecting the steel frame. The powder coated black paint job was magnificent. I did not see any flaws in the paint, that’s amazing. The corner piece and the 2 sectionals are attached with 6 solid plastic retaining clips that also look high end. All 12 legs on this sectional have their own adjustable castors to adjust to ground imperfections. With our old deck, this was a game changer. Here is some advise, the assembling in easy just time consuming but still follow it. All 5 of the seat cushions are the same so it is fine to put the slip covers over each of those first. There are 6 back cushions, 4 are the same and the covers fit on those well. The other 2 back cushions are different, they each have on end that is tapered and one is larger than the other, so you have to ensure you identify which is which and but the correct cover on the correct cushion. The instructions tell you to lay out all 11 cushions before adding the slip covers and I will reiterate that same sentiment. Doing this is quick and can save you some redo time. Seats 5 people very comfortably. This listed width in 50.59 inches although I measured it at 63 inches, my wife was able to lie down completely and she is 5’2” tall. The weight capacity is 300 pounds. The cushion covers include a 3-year fade and stain resistant limited warranty. There are many colors to choose from, we got the Chili color, goes well with the color of or deck by the pool. The slip covers ship separately but ours arrived with the sectional. We recommend this sectional, it looks and feels very high end and I do believe it will last many many years.

The HAMPTON BAY HARMONY HILL 3-PIECE BLACK STEEL OUTDOOR PATIO SECTIONAL SOFA WITH CUSHIONGUARD CHILI RED CUSHIONS. This sectional comes completely assembled, all you have to put together is the legs on the table. Eat leg on the sectional and the table has adjustable feet to level it. The furniture is a nice quality and has a great finish. There are clips that hold each section of the sectional together so they don't move apart when you are sitting on them. I was only able to get one side to clip to the corner section, one side of the corner section is not completely straight (this is why 4 stars). This did not inhibit the use of the sectional. The cushions come uncovered and you have to install the slipcovers, I know this sounds like a pain but its not that bad and if you get something on it you can take it off to clean of order an extra without having to get a whole new cushion. The seat cushions are firm but comfortable and I'm sure they will break in with time, the back cushions are softer almost like pillows. The table has a very nice wood like look to it. The bench is 50 inches long, the length including corner is 80 inches. The bench is 30 inches deep and 29 1/2 inches tall without cushions. The back height of the bench with cushions is 35 inches tall and seating height is 18 inches tall with cushions. The table is 20 in. H X 22 in. W X 40 in. L. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone looking for comfort and style for their outdoor area.
