Sturdy Patio Set, But Poor Customer ServiceI was impressed with the overall quality of this patio set. It seems substantial, especially considering the price. Similar patio sets are quite a bit more expensive than this one. I think it's going to work well at my new home. The reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was due to the customer service I received when I discovered there was a missing part. I called the Hampton Bay number, and I had to wait on hold for 20+ minutes before speaking to someone that was less than friendly (she seemed to be annoyed from the moment she answered the phone). After giving her my information, including my phone number, she either hung up or the call was disconnected. I waited for her to call me back, but she never did. I then had to call back again and wait an additional 20+ minutes for someone else to help. Once they had the details of the item that was missing, he said he had to pass it along to another department for their approval and that could be several days. If a customer calls in with a missing part, why can't the customer service rep just send the part? Luckily it wasn't several days before I heard back from him, and hopefully the part is on its way, but the amount of time I had to wait for the call, and the delay in the part being shipped, it was very frustrating (not to mention the unhappy customer service rep not calling me back after being disconnected). I usually receive excellent service from Home Depot, but this was definitely the exception to that. Maybe they need to take a better look at their procedures with Hampton Bay.
