AnswersYou take the faceplate off the backplate (seperate them, they are just already together for the packaging), screw in the backplate and then clip the faceplate onto the backplate.

The KENTLEY SCREWLESS STEEL 1-TOGGLE WALL PLATE,BRUSHED NICKEL is a very nice cover, especially if you don't like the screws showing ! This is a very well made, and really a nice looking wall plate. The thick plastic insert is what you have to install to your electrical box in the wall. Then the brushed nickel wall plate just snaps into place ! It's very easy to do, and it does look really nice.

I like the simplicity of this wall plate. The fact it is screwless adds a lot to the simplicity. The brushed nickel stands out on the wall, even in low light. There are elongated holes at the correct place in the mounting bracket so that you can easily adjust the position of the switches to match the position of the holes in the bracket. You can loosen a switch and tighten the screws for the bracket then tighten the switch screws. This makes installation easier than traditional wall plates which require you to guess how far to move a switch and try installation again. The tab at the bottom of the plate allows you to easily pry the plate off later, if necessary.

I decided on this wall plate because of its simplicity. I also wanted to try a screwless plate. There are elongated holes at the correct place in the mounting bracket so that you can easily adjust the position of the switch if necessary, without removing the bracket. The plate snaps securely into the bracket. The tab at the bottom of the plate allows easy removal of the plate after installation. Even after noting this before installation, I snapped the plate on the bracket upside down. I could still pry the plate off with a screwdriver and reinstall it properly.

The Kentley Screwless steel wall plate came in a very timely manner and it was very well packaged. The brushed nickel is very sturdy and would look nice with any decor. The fact that is screwless adds a little more style to the over all look of it and makes it stand out as something unique. I definitely recommend this wall plate for any room in the house.

This is the first time I’ve seen a wall plate that had no screws visible when it’s installed and ...
This is the first time I’ve seen a wall plate that had no screws visible when it’s installed and I like it a lot. It is actually two pieces, the rear installation plate is plastic and screws into the fixture while the metal face plate snaps on to it. Super easy to install but the plates must be pried apart with a flat blade screw driver as the fit is very solid. It’s a very good quality, nice looking brushed chrome color.

When I say replacing my old switch plate with this KENTLEY SCREWLESS STEEL 1-TOGGLE WALL PLATE IN BRUSHED NICKEL was a snap - I mean that literally. In 30 seconds I went from a boring off white switch plate to this nice, modern, brushed nickle plate. it's well made and simple. Instructions are printed on the back of the package as are cleaning instructions (nothing abrasive or you'll scratch the finish!).
