EXACTLY CORRECT.. SAME BULBS, SAME ISSUE.. VOLTAGE PASSES THRU LIGHT WIRE WHEN OFF. WEBSITES SAY USE ONE REGULAR BULB AND AN LED. TO DROP VOLTAGE.. "Nope, I bought Feit Electric 60 watt LED dimmable light bulbs from Home Depot and they only dim to about 20% when the light control on the remote is off. So basically we have a night light even when the lights are off. Going back to incandescent bc they actually turn all the way off, despite trying to live in the 21st century."

I have 3 of these units and I do not believe they have a comfort breeze feature. We simply set the temperature and the fan will change speed to maintain that temp.

I am using LED bulb and it works fine. My last remote went bad and started to turn the lite on at random times. I have also had multiple problems with the remote not preforming some functions. So if the light is not working as it should, replace the remote.

Normally the dip switch in the receiver and remote are set as the same code. So, you have 2 set of remote and receivers. You have 2 set of codes. If you set the dip switch in the non working one to be the same as the working one, the remote will be able to control both fans together but not separately.

So this thermostat is the exact same type that I replaced it with. I am not an electrician but I know the basics of what to do. So taking out the old thermostat where the temperature buttons were hard to register if at all whenever I pressed them to change the temperature. So everything was the same in this product where the colored wires went into which positions. Now when I tried to put the wires into the opening it seemed that the holes just weren't big enough. I had to unscrew the set screw almost all the way out before the wire finally slid into place. But there were 5 wires ( I believe) that I had to struggle with in order to get this done. Yes, I finally was able to put all the wires in the proper spot. But I still don't believe it should have been this hard to put in. That's why I gave a mediocre rating on this thermostat because I feel that the wires should have gone in smoothly. Then after putting the thermostat back into place and the power turned on I tested the temperature buttons once again. Yes, it works. But previously whenever I depressed these temperature control buttons I used to hear a click. Now there is no click. Again, this does work and I am not about to turn it back in for another one just because it doesn't click. I tested the a/c, heat, and the fan and it all works. But patience is the key when replacing this thermostat.
