Protects fire pit well
Got this to cover the Hampton Bay square gas fire pit and am very glad I did, the material is strong and waterproof and protected my fire pit during a huge storm last night. Definitely need this product to keep the fire pit from getting wet.

Not Waterproof for me
I have had this cover on my Hamton Bay fire pit for less then a year after the orginal one that came with it got brittle. Much to our dismay, our fire pit is now ruined and rusting on our patio. I dont understand how this can happen. The less than 2 year old Hampton Bay fire pit thats ruined now is part of a expensive conversation set they use to sell and propably cannot be replaced. We are very disapuonted as both these products came from rhe same company. The picture shows the underside of the cover sitting next to a rusty area on the fire pit. Additional photos would have shown how the water came through the top of the cover, soaked the table top and then dripped down from above to collect on the lower parts.
