Lindmoore 11 ft. x 13 ft. Taupe Pitched Roof Hard Top Gazebo

This gazebo fit perfectly in our backyard and is different than all the others I’ve seen. The only issue is a few screws were missing but we easily bought replacements. Professionally installed in about 3 hours.

The assembly of this Lindmoore Gazebo is not complicated and requires a helper for only a couple of the steps. We had been talking about building a gazebo for quite some time. When lumber prices shot up by as much as 400% while the quality went down, we decided to order this steel gazebo kit, and we are pleased with our decision. Our climate is "Semi-Tropical" which implies a lot of rain days. When the truck arrived, the parts were all loose including the hardware packet. About 350 bolts are required for assembly. The open bolt package was short close to 80 bolts. The representative immediately placed an order for another hardware packet. It shipped directly from mainland China and arrived in less than 2 weeks. We encountered very few assembly issues, all of which I was able to overcome. Power tools should not be used to start any of the bolts. 98% of the bolts screwed into the threaded assemblies without any problems. Four or five bolts screwed in by hand only half-way and stopped. One half-way in bolt had to be cut off as it would not go in or back out. I am disappointed with the fit of the 8 corner braces. None fit flush with the posts. To keep wasps and water out, sealant was applied to the gaps. Finally, there was more rust than we expected; and the roof and skylights do leak but only during a heavy rainstorm. A solution will be found for that issue. The post ends were assembled while laying flat on the deck. A helper was needed to lift them into position. When the two ends were joined with the lengthwise pieces I was surprised at how level the four posts were. It should be noted that it is only due to our wet climate that my rating was not excellent.

I recently installed this gazebo on our newly paved patio and we love it! It has a very decorative look that complements our area, and also looks good from the street as well. I was able to complete assembly over two days, but with a helper you could definitely have fully assembled in one full day. Everything is labelled, everything. I laid out all the parts in order and just followed the instructions, really was not difficult, with the right tools. They give you two small 10mm wrenches but this would take forever with just those. Get a drill with a 10mm attachment as well as 10mm ratchet if you want to make real progress. Another hint - leave virtually every bolt loose until it is fully assembled or you will run into difficulty fitting some parts together. After all is assembled, level it out, and then tighten everything down starting at the top and working your way down. Once assembled it is quite sturdy and very heavy. I have no worries about it going anywhere even in a strong windstorm. Finish on all parts looks good, and it looks really high end. Many days and nights will be spent under the roof with friends and family, rain or shine. My only complaint was I ran out of the main bolts and had to go to the hardware store for more - I was short 11 bolts and I know I didn't lose any nor did I put any where they didn't belong. Minor inconvenience, far from a deal breaker.

Nice looking steel gazebo. First time putting one together. Instructions were clear for us, but make sure you review and study on each step. And don't tighten all the bolts right away, wait until you have most together. We took our time assembling using only three people to start it, which were the columns with connecting beams. After that one person was able to complete. We purchased a 3/8 socket adapter for our drill driver. Be sure to square the build, it will help with assembly. We were afraid of where we were putting it that it would not hold up to high winds. It says it withstands up to 33mph winds. So we decided to put two treated 2x8 pieces of wood partially into the ground and then used rebar driven on an angle to anchor to ground. Then instead fo the pins they included we used deck screws to attach the gazebo to the 2x8's. Every piece is marked with a letter so that made it easier to assemble. We will put some nice stone on the bottom eventually to finish the look. We did run out of the H1 bolts/washers and have a call into Hampton Bay for additional ones. Like the skylights but not sure how and if the film on the skylights is to be removed and how to remove it. Also inquired about that. We have seen some rust starting on some pieces and it's only been up two weeks. Hope it lasts. The color is a nice neutral brown/tan. This is a nice looking gazebo and is great if you need some shade in an area. We decided to put it next to our small pond.

This review is for the amazing Hampton Bay Lindmoore 12' x 10' Pitched Roof Hard Top Gazebo. Model # A102013010 B1-B2. We have been in the market for a gazebo for our backyard pool area but we could just never find one that we thought would stand up to the winds of Phoenix's summer monsoon season. They can be ferocious at times and if it's cheaply made and outside, it won't last for long. Then we came across this Hampton Bay Lindmoore series steel, very well constructed gazebo that was built like a brick! Once assembled, this sturdy beast, designed for years of service, weighs in near 420 pounds and delivered in two large boxes, weighs nearly 600 pounds. It's meant to last and it's meant to stay where you put it. Information on this gazebo says 3-4 men should assemble it. That would be nice but not really mandatory. Due to the warm Phoenix sun, just my wife and I would start working on this at 7am and would stop around 10am. From start to finish it took us 3 1//2 days, but we were not in any hurry and the pool was only 15 feet away. This gazebo is all galvanized steel, all powder-coated and all of the 10mm bolts are quality stainless steel. You are provided with two wrenches, but there are ALOT of fasteners to install. I used a 10mm driver socket attached to a torque controllable drill - it made assembly much easier and faster. I would not attach this drive socket to any drill that I was not able to control the torque of - full power could snap bolts. I also used a hand ratchet with a 10mm socket to just check the tightness of each bolt. There is no need to strong arm these bolts in place, common sense tight will work great. Since you are assembling a lot of parts that must eventually all fit together, I would suggest that you do NOT start off cranking these assembly bolts down tight. Leave them all a little loose, give parts room to move and fit into each other, it will make your final assembly a lot easier as things just come together. Start off tightening everything down hard and you'll be fighting final assembly. It's just not required to do that. Then when it's all together, go around and tighten everything down. Assembly is pretty straight forward though the assembly diagrams could have been larger and more detailed. Every part is labeled with a small sticker ID tag so you always know what part you have in your hand. Take your time, know where each part goes before you start. Nothing jams into place, everything is cut to the correct length and slips in where it belongs. Final installation is attaching this gazebo to the ground. I did not want, nor is it recommended, to place the footings of this gazebo directly in contact with the ground, especially if you live where it rains. Not an issue in Phoenix but still a good idea to keep the base off the ground. I used 3/8-inch cement board for the 4 legs to sit on. I cut a template 1 inch bigger around that the 4 metal feet of the Gazebo and drilled 4 holes in each to match the base. Upon completion of assembly, we perfectly situated the gazebo atop these cement boards, used a level to make sure everything was true (it was) and drove in the spikes for each footing and this thing was secure. With it's weight and this attachment to the ground through the cement board, it's very well connected to terra firma. No guarantee against tornadoes! We are planning on installing lights inside; small LED Solar lights will be perfect. Assembly is going to take time and some work, but if you take your time, enjoy the project, your final reward will be a great looking gazebo in your back yard to enjoy for years to come. We absolutely love this thing.

Hampton Bay Lindmoore 10' x 12' Pitched Roof Steel Hard Top Gazebo I cannot tell you how excited I am to have this beautiful Gazebo by Hampton Bay. All of the material is top quality, heavy-duty, and is sure to last for many years to come. It is rust-resistant and is powder coated with a gray steel frame and roof. It has easy illustrative assembly instructions, yeah.. This is quite a good size gazebo. Plenty of room for a fountain, fire pit, benches or chairs. This is the perfect place to have a picnic or cookouts with friends and family. You can also decorate with solar lights, hanging baskets or whatever you'd like to decorate with. It measures: Approx. depth. 11' Approx. width 13' Approx. depth in inches 137.20, Assembled height 115.75" Assembled width 160.04." Exact Width x Depth measures 13 ft. 4.04" x 11 ft. 5.2." Width ft. x Depth ft.13 x 11.' Manufacturer recommended tools need for assembly: Hammer, Ladder, Screwdriver, Cordless drill. The maximum roof load is 110 pounds. The product weight is 416.67 pounds. I would definitely recommend this gazebo by Hampton Bay. It is another great product and will last for years. I hope you like my photos. Of course, I'm not even close to what I plan to decorate it with. I am super proud to have this gazebo by Hampton Bay. I have taken a video of it being assembled, but have been unable to get it to publish on YouTube. I have a new IPhone and have not figured it out yet, but I will.

This Hampton Bay Lindmoore hard top Gazebo is certainly a substantial structure and definitely provides shade to sunny patios or other areas. Not sure why they refer to it as gray though because it’s a beautiful light taupe color. Comes expertly packed in two extremely heavy boxes with clearly labeled hardware and a full size instruction booklet. All parts are labeled with stickers. I took all parts out and laid identical parts together. Following the instructions, you first assemble the frame. We assembled it on the ground. Follow the instructions carefully during this step otherwise you’ll have to redo it. Speaking of which, you cannot mention this gazebo without mentioning the assembly. It was a nightmare. For a structure that has numerous parts and hardware, the instruction booklet is cartoonish and extremely vague. The pieces have to be placed specifically and the instruction booklet does a very poor job with clarity and detailed photos. There were instances where it told you to tighten screws then in the very next step you needed to place a piece under something you already tightened, then you would have to go back and loosen screws so you could install your next piece. Some pieces just didn’t line up at all or there wasn’t a place to insert a screw where there should have been. We still have not installed the decorative side pieces. They simply don’t fit. A neighbor even tried. A structure like this needs a booklet with real photos. Not amateurish, confusing illustrations. The skylights come with a protective film that’s so securely adhered that we could only remove one side of film, with great difficulty, and the film facing the sky we couldn’t remove at all! It definitely takes away from the beauty of the skylights being that you can see the labeling on the skylights, which I love by the way. They offer UV protection. I can’t tell if they are glass or acrylic but they are lightweight while allowing some sunlight. The very last top pieces are also not installed properly because of incorrect instructions. The top panels or roof, were easy to install. Once you get to this step you’re on your way to finishing. One person can assemble the top frame and panels. Once it’s fully assembled it’s a very nice gazebo and looks high end. Very roomy. We placed directly onto a concrete patio but it is of substantial weight so I don’t see high winds being a problem. Love the hook in the center and we are adding solar lights underneath. Not as dark underneath as I thought it would be, which is a good thing, but it does provide great shade to a sunny area. I did see a lot of rust the next day, around some screws and the steel frame pieces. I wiped as much away as I could but I do worry that overtime it will get extreme rusting. Time will tell. Aside from the inadequate instructions, this is a great gazebo/pergola, a lovely color and is a necessity for our over sunlit patio. Matches the trim of my home too!
