AnswersThese 400mAh batteries don't last long and will die out after just as short few hours. Buy newer lights which has a rechargeable AA battery for the best overall experience. The higher the mAh the battery has the longer it is lit.

Perfect solution to give new life to my older solar lights that needed new batteries. Before buying these batteries to replace the old ones my lights would only stay on for a few hours and were not bright. These brought the life back to those lights. See pics.

We're sorry to hear that you had this issue. The batteries are shipped partially charged and must be charged in full, direct sunlight for at least 8 hours prior to initial use. If the batteries did not charge in your solar landscape lights, the issue may be with the lights themselves or the batteries may be the wrong size for your lights.

If after charging for at least 8 hours per day for a couple of days, the batteries are still not performing properly, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.
