Perfect solution to give new life to my older solar lights that needed new batteries. Before buying these batteries to replace the old ones my lights would only stay on for a few hours and were not bright. These brought the life back to those lights. See pics.

We're sorry to hear that you are having this issue. That is an issue with the lights and location. This issue sounds like there is ambient light in the area of the lights which can cause the lights to not turn on. Sometimes, porch lights or street lights can emit enough light that doesn't allow the lights to turn on automatically because they sense light. Please relocate the lights to an area that is completely dark at night. If that does not resolve the issue, please contact your light's manufacturer for further assistance. HamptonBay

We're sorry to see the 2-star rating. If you are having issues with the batteries, please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to troubleshoot and resolve the issue. In general, it is important to note that the batteries are shipped partially charged and should be in stalled in the lights and allowed to charge in full, direct sunlight for at least 8 hours prior to use. I first searched for the solar lamps we had. Scrolled down and it said people also bought these. Ordered them but when I went to put them in the solar lamps, the batteries were too short. Waste of money.
