Yes, these worked perfect. I broke the landscape light connector while attempting to move it down the low voltage wire. We replanted some landscape plants and the light needed to be moved farther away from its original location. These connectors worked perfect. thank you for carrying them online.

Bought a package of two. Both break as soon as I tried to apply pressure. Same as another review here with pictures.

Have had great results with the product in the past.. This connector was falling apart see pictuture. The product is a good design. It appears the manufacturing quality needs improvement. Unfortunately very dissatisfied with this item.

The fundamental design of these is poor. They are made of hard plastic that has no 'give.' The cavity where they clamp to the power wire is too small for the rating that says they can be used with up to 12 gauge wire -- particularly if you are using these to replace connectors onto wire that has hardened over the years. When you press the two haves together one or both splits into pieces making them useless. Unfortunately there are few alternatives. So the next step is to sit in the dirt and shave some insulation from the power cord before trying a new one.

After reading not so positive reviews about box that does the same job we purchased these. 11/12 fired up the first time. I unsnapped and resnapped and the 12th one lit up. I purchased weatherproof nuts and put some dielectric grease in the middle before snapping.

Worked perfect. And would get 5 stars. Except the wire nuts are not water proof (silicone filled) and so if your system is connected to a GFCI it trips every time it rains or winds blow sprinkler water over.

These cable connectors usually work the fist time no problem. Occasionally they need to be moved, usually to get the spike properly positioned to pierce the cable properly but they will work. Other brands that I have tried usually do not work well and frequently never work. These are a little over priced but the alternative, from what I found, is hopeless. Redoing the competitor products (not these) over and over again is super frustrating because you are scrounging around in the dirt with garden plants getting in the way. Get these but seal the open end of the wire nuts with electrical wire sealant for exterior use (see photo) to keep moisture out.
