Hi Cary. I installed mine in my husband’s closet. I wouldn’t put something that small in a vaulted ceiling. It’s only a 60 watt. Hope this helps.
Can you buy the rods to make this a pendant style that hangs down
No, they mount right on the ceiling.. try piper classics if your looking for a pendant like Ike this.
I'm not an electrician but seeing up close they are made I don't think that would work. I'm guessing that 3 or 4 of them hung in a row would look good ceiling mounted and that would give you the look of pendant lighting - the fixture hangs down about 12 inches.
I do not know. I have purchased this item twice to use as a flush mount ceiling fixture for a stairwell.
Does anybody think this fixture would look good/work well in a walk-through laundry/mudroom?
I absolutely love the light - it is in the hallway to the bedrooms - the bulb gives a soft light not really a bright light - so depending on the laundry room it may not be bright enough - hope that helps!!
I have them thru out my house.. I have them In my walk in closets, hall ways and downstairs hall way and laundry room. I love them!
