Once put together is it heavy and hard to move off deck when needed, for cleaning?

Yes, It is very heavy and cumbersome once assembled. You might however put some of those easy glide things under the feet which might make it easier to move.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from My spouse and I had looked at several sets, and we even had purchased one from another retailer. ... My spouse and I had looked at several sets, and we even had purchased one from another retailer. We were inspired by looking at a similar sold at by another company which was out of stock. I saw this set and noticed the price and been cut by 40%. I ordered it, and it arrived within three days. I took it out of the box and immediately could see the quality construction. It was a solid frame construction that was not simply spot welded. It had cross support bars (not a thin sheet of metal) to support the seating. The weave was well done and it looks really nice put together. It comes with all the cushions as well as six toss pillows. I did follow the recommendation of putting liquid was on the frame to keep it protected. We encourage you to review our guidelines and resubmit your review on Mill Valley 4-Piece Patio Sectional Set with Parchment Cushions. My only suggested change would be to use Sumbrella fabrics even for the off the shelf items and maybe to use better metal glider feet.

We bought this patio set on September 3, 2016 for our covered, screened in porch. It looks great and the cushions are very comfortable. The reason I give it a 1 star review is due to the longevity of the cushions. We bought the slipcovers and they have help up great. However, the cushions themselves have a thin material that holds the cotton/foam in place. We removed the slipcovers to wash over the weekend in preparation for use this year and found the outer cushion material is flaking off on most of the cushions! While not an issue while the cushions are in the slipcovers, they do need to be removed periodically for washing and it will become impossible to stuff the cushions back in. There is a 2 year warranty on this product, but I'm at 2 years 8 months. To make matter worse, after calling Hampton Bay to inquire about a solution, they informed me there is nothing they can do and replacement cushions cannot be ordered. I'm confident I can get one more year out of them, but $2,000 for 3 years of use is not worth it!

Maybe the best packing job my husband had ever seen! 3 boxes, 1 weighing 200+ lbs. but was off loaded by a lift gate so not a problem. My handy, husband said that while the assembly process was not difficult, lining up some of the holes was challenging. Once assembled, it was very sturdy & rock solid. It came with 19 cushions/pillows that are firm but not uncomfortable. The material cleans up well & I think will hold up well. It is big enough to handle 2 adults laying down. Our biggest concern, before ordering, was whether we would have enough room in our screened in porch? There were so many different answers to how much wall space we would need. The answer is: 9ft.6" X 9 ft.6" of wall space each way. Don't know why so many discrepancies on measurements?? But I have waited so long for a comfortable, stylish sectional & I have finally found it!! It was a little more $$ than what I had planned on, but I believe this is an instance of getting what you paid for!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth Every Penny! This is the second review I've written because I need to let everyone know this set is fabulous! We recieved our set 5 months ago. I did my shopping in March, even tho summer here was months away for the Upper Peninsula. I set up the furniture when my husband was out of town (I do better by myself). It wasn't bad once I got out the power screw driver and bought the right part to use on the screws. But I did need help getting it out to the patio. I bought the sunbrella material and it is awsome! There is contruction taking place a few blocks west of our location and the dust doesn't stick to the materal. I whisk it away with a small brush after the dew has dried. It is so comforatable that we have spent more time on the deck this summer than in the ten years we have lived here and it's only July 9th. This set is worth twice what I paid. I bought the side table and it is perfect as a coffe table everyone can use when seated. I love love love this living room outside!

The set is solid, heavy, very nice. But for the sake of all that is holy, do yourself a favor and buy the Sunbrella fabric covered cushions!!! The item was placed in a covered, screened-in porch in the Northeast. Within months, black mildew spots began to grow. Spot removal was unsuccessful. In fact, I tried a special spray and actually stained the cushions. Gut wrenching. Finally broke down and ordered peacock blue Sunbrella slip covers. They had some loose spring, but seem okay. Easier to put on than expected. So far, so good. Will keep you posted!

The cushions are the perfect thickness and firmness and the material seems like it will hold up well! I've had the set for 2 months and there are no signs of it wearing even though it gets used very hard.....even my 2 dogs get comfy on it! It is the perfect height and I love that the ottoman is large enough for everyone to put there feet on it at the same time! Love this set! It is a great price for a well made outdoor sectional and I would recommend it highly!!

I want to thank all of the folks that posted their reviews prior to May 2014. What I found was that everyone really liked the set and felt that it was high quality. I couldn't agree more! It really is lovely. Took 2 of us about 2 hours to put it together, but really, my husband did most of the work. The ratchet wrench helped a lot. It does come in 3 big boxes. I was surprised that I didn't get a call for the window of delivery, but on the delivery company's website it posted one. Not sure who they spoke to?? It was delivered without a call on our driveway. We happened to be home, so it was ok, but not the best service. But I have to say that our complete satisfaction with this set has allowed me to overlook that detail. It is exactly what I wanted and it looks beautiful

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I was a bit skeptical when purchasing online due to the numerous bad reviews about staining (even from just rain). I just recently purchased this couch and have already had many opportunities to see if it stains! My roommate spilled a Red Bull on it, my dog wiped his slober and his tush on it (gross) and we had a wicked hail/rain storm that doused the thing. The couch has held up beautifully through it all - the “dog” spots wiped up easily with a paper towel and some soapy dishwater and the Red Bull and rain beaded up and slid right off. I would venture to guess that the weather proofing solution that is applied will need to be reapplied after a season or two but that is to be expected. Would absolutely recommend this set!
