Installation Warning!
The instructions tell you to install part #6 (plastic washer) between part #7 (glass shade) and part #5 (iron washer). DON'T DO IT! Throw that plastic washer away! One week after installation, I wanted to change out the std lite bulbs I originally used with CFL's. The plastic washer had adhered to both the glass shade and metal washer. It was as if it was all super-glued together. Never could get it separated, and wound up partially dismantling the fixture just to change the bulbs. Otherwise like the fixture. The glass shade is nice/heavy, although the finish is uneven at the edges. Quality is a little cheap (made in China) although it's about what I expected for the price.

Beautiful but difficult to install
This is a beautiful light, the shape and brushed nickel really add elegance to the room. We purchased four for the entryway and hallway. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it is extremely difficult to install! It's as if the manufacturer forgot something, but since each one was the same I'm thinking it is a defect.
My suggestion would be to buy bulbs you don't have to replace for 20 years and you will only have to deal with the frustration once every 20 yrs or so.

Great Light
looks great once it was installed. It took 2 of us to get the light installed because of the small parts at the end that needed to be screwed in. We bought two of these and I was a little hesitant to put the second one up because of the installation process.

Glass is heavy so easier if 2 people available to help install that part but one could do it if no one else was around

This is a beautiful ceiling ight!
We bought this ceiling light for our home office. The design is sleek and modern yet has a retro feel. My only negative comment about this product is that it is difficult to change the bulbs. The bottom finial and decorative plate must be removed along with the glass shade to access the bulbs. It's a bit of a juggling act. But from a decorative perspective, we love it!

BEAUTIFUL & CLASSY

Leave it on the shelf!
I bought this light based on its good looks. Impossible to install. The parts just don't work. Improvised for 5 hours but could not get it flush with ceiling and tight at the bottom. Returned this nightmare!
