Is this fixture dimmable?

AnswersThat would depend on what type of bulbs and switch you install. The fixture itself is simply composed of 4 edison (screw) sockets wired together to a single pair of "hot" (black) and "neutral" (white) wires, plus a ground (green) wire. There are no electronics or solid state switches in the fixture. You need to ensure that the bulbs you install are dimmable and that you use the appropriate dimmer switch.

rusting screw caps
We installed these lights 3 months ago. The lights are beautiful but I have just noticed rust on screw caps. I could not believe my eyes. They are meant to be in the bathroom where moisture is not something unsual. And after only 3 months we have rust. I would buy a different fixture if I knew that.

Rusting Two Years Later
The previous owner placed the three-light sets in two of my bathrooms. When we moved in we noticed some rust, but two years later we are replacing them since the rust is pretty visible and extensive on the bolts and the support between the lights. We always have the high efficiency fans on, so it’s pretty disappointing as they are supposed to be “damp rated.”
