In one place it says aluminum frame. Right below that it says steel frame. Which is it? Which parts are steel?

The chair frame and base are aluminum. The rocking mechanism is steel.

Yes it’s weatherproof. I have had mine for a year now. It sits out in the rain and sun and has held up fine. I recommend storing it in a shed or covered area in the winter if you get snow like we do in northern Ohio

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy this!! Do not buy this! The manufacture does not know what they are doing. I ordered this on April 18th with a ship date of 5-7 business days so I was hoping to have a patio set for this summer. It is now June 17th and I still do not have it. First when I ordered this it was on backorder. Then it shipped mid-May only to have the pieces not go together. The base of the chair does not connect with the chair. So I called and they already knew about this problem however they did not have the right pieces to fix it and was not sure when the right pieces would be in. Now they are not returning my emails or calls so I have multiple pieces sitting on my patio waiting for some kind response or direction from the manufacture.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RUN AWAY FROM THE PEMBREY DINING SET!!! I bought the Bistro and the 7 piece dining set at the same time. Both were backordered but I felt that it was worth the wait as I loved the look and the chairs were very comfortable. Well - the bistro set came first. I left my husband at home putting it together while I did some errands; came home about 2 hours later and found him totally frustrated and beyond mad because the chair base would NOTfit on the chair seat. Like the other reviewer, we tried everything he mentioned but stopped at taking it to a machine shop to MAKE it fit - which we refuse to do. The set is going back and I will cancel the dining set as well. What an absolute piece of junk. I am so tired of purchasing products that must be assembled and there is always at least one piece that will not fit. This was a very, very bad experience. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT!

I contacted the company the same day & was told another brace would arrive in 10 days. This was in June 2016. I called 3-4 a month asking where my table brace was & finally told I wouldn't be getting anything until maybe November ! Anyone who has this set, knows the tile top to this table is very heavy & cannot be used on the table w/o good support. $350 for this set that I have yet to be able to use. I am a widow on a limited income & this is how I get treated. Moral to this story,,check your contents BEFORE delivery man leaves. Oh yea, I wasn't offered that either. They could atleast offer me a replacement table. . I love the set,,I just want to use it before winter.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice set... but buy a wrench It took 2 weeks for this set to arrive, and though the delivery info said that they would drop it off just inside the first entrance, the delivery guys were good enough to bring it all the way through my building and up to my top floor apartment. The table and 2 chairs came in 1 box and I set to work on building it on my own. The instructions were easy to follow and everything was packaged in a way that it was obvious which bit went where. I would, however, recommend that you get a couple of decent wrenches because the ones in the box are small and pathetic, and the bolts were very tricky to fully tighten. But a few hours later (and a few scrapes and bruises to my fingers) I had a fully assembled set. The only problem I have is that one of the chairs has a squeak when rocking, and no amount of tightening and loosening of the bolts seems to fix this. But, I do enjoy using this and it's the perfect size for my balcony.

My husband and son are both engineers and they were very displeased with the quality of the chairs and table. Pieces were missing from the parts sets; they had to work hard to get things connected because of being bent. The wicker weave separated. Two of the chairs had split wicker on the edges. I have purchased Hampton Bay in the past and have been very pleased. This product is not worth a $1,000.00. The tables are light weight and flimsy. The piece of tile that fits on the table top has no way of securing in the frame. It would never survive in a windy setting. Even the Hampton Bay logo was hanging off the back of one chair. This is a quality control issue as well as a design flaw. If this product had been steel instead of aluminum it would be a much better product. We returned this product to the manufacturer.
