Rock Cliff 18 in. x 18 in. Steel Outdoor Side Table with Wicker Top

Not sure I’m happy with this table that matches the chair set, it is a bit too short for my liking. The only reason I chose this is because it matches my existing set. It looks nice and matches the chair set, but that’s about all it has going for it. The steel frame seems pretty sturdy, it is sturdy enough for my 12 year old son to sit on it. But, this is a table, not a chair :)

Great looks and extremely sturdy - the wicker top covers a steel frame and steel legs. Assembly for this side table went together in about 15 minutes, with the only tool you need included. I recommend keeping every bolt loose until each bolt is in place. From my 4th photo below, you’ll see that it may appear that there is too big of a gap in the legs after attaching the cross-piece to the first leg. But not to worry, as long as your bolts are loose, it comes together well. Tighten up all leg bolts and it’s done! The wicker top is deceptive: it looks like a low-strength stool or table, but this has a sturdy steel frame and legs (see photos 2-4). The finished table stands 18 inches high, with the table top measuring 18x18, it’s almost a cube! I like this table/stool!

Right out the box, I could tell it matched my chairs perfectly. It has the same sturdy construction, which is a metal square frame wrapped in the wicker material. Putting the table together was very easy. It includes a tool and all screws to put together. To make things easier, I would highly recommend an electric screwdriver. I would say it only took about 5 minutes to put together.

I requested this 18x18 inch square steel outdoor side table to go with two Hampton Bay lounge chairs I had obtained from the Home Depot last year. The table is just the right size and height to fit between the chairs and, except for the wicker top being a lighter shade of brown, it matches the chairs perfectly. The table arrived unassembled but it's very easy to put it together. It comes with the necessary screws and Allen wrench, as well as simple assembly and care instructions. I did not read the instructions carefully at first and screwed on the legs tightly. However, then the crossbar will not fit. When you attach the legs to the tabletop, you need to keep the screws fairly loose. Then you attach the crossbar to the legs and tighten those screws. When that is done you can tighten the leg screws, and you should have a nice sturdy outdoor side table. The legs also have leveling screws on the bottom in case you have an uneven outdoor surface. I'm looking forward to using this table when it's warm enough to use the lounge chairs again.

The Hampton Bay Rock Cliff 18 x 18 inch steel outdoor side table with wicker top is a nice addition for the outdoor space. It is sturdy and well constructed with a steel frame and easy to assemble. It is just the right size for a side table to hold your favorite beverage. The wicker top has a medium brown color to complement a variety of furnishing choices. It has adjustable tips on the legs to avoid the annoying wobble that can be associated with uneven floor surfaces.

Great Looking Table. A near perfect match with our wicker patio sofa. Very sturdy and well built. It is waterproof. The feet are adjustable. Easy to assemble. All necessary hardware included. When assembling the legs it may be a little difficult to line up the holes. My advice is to assemble everything but do not fully tighten the screws until after everything is lined up. Then you will have no problem tightening everything up. The pieces will fall right into place.

This is part of the Hampton Bay's outdoor wicker collection. I love the look of this side table. It is a 3 season weather resistant small table that will go perfectly on our raised deck with the other wicker furniture. The wicker coloring matches our set also from Hampton Bay. I do have one complaint. The weld points on the cross support leave something to be desired. It does not affect the functionality and really is a small defect, but those welds should not have made it through quality inspection. Overall: Would recommend.

I just got done assembling this little outdoor patio table. I definitely recommend NOT tightening all of the screws down as you go. Getting the middle support bracket in place and attached to the four legs was a bit challenging. I had to flex the legs inwards an inch or so in order to be able to get the four allen bolts started. Once everything was in place I went back and tightened the bolts down. The quality of the table seems to be about average for patio furniture that is on the lower end. The welds are a little sloppy with some burrs left behind. All of the metal bits are powder coated, but some of the welds don't seem to have been coated really well. I sprayed some corrosion inhibiting spray on all of them to hopefully slow down the rust that will take hold. The woven wicker top is nice, though it looks a bit crooked when viewed from the top. Also, because of the weaving you can't just set a glass or bottle down without making sure it doesn't tip over. For some reason underneath the wicker there is corrugated plastic. I'm guessing this is done to add support, but at the same time it prevents water drainage. I poked four small holes in it, we'll see what happens. Overall, it's a nice looking little table, that you should be able to get two to three years of use out of when left outside year round.

The Hampton Bay Rock Cliff wicker top side table is made with a really sturdy steel frame. The dimensions of the top are just short of 18 inches x 18 inches and the height is also about 18 inches. The resin wicker top looks and feels like wicker. I might use this table indoors instead of exposing it to the elements due to the top. If I put it outside, it will be in a covered patio. It is weather and rust resistant but the top doesn't really appear to be weatherproof.

This product looks great, is solidly build, and works great for our space. The end table is very strong, and can even handle being used as a seat. One feature I'm especially pleased about is the adjustable feet. Our concrete isn't perfectly level, so having the option to adjust the feet is a must. We were able to easily adjust them to get a stable end table. Without this feature it would have been wobbly. Beware that the assembly can be quite difficult. Maybe we got a bad unit, but the legs did not line up nearly as well as they should have. We had to use quite a bit of force to get the bolt holes to align. Like I said, once it's all together you'd never notice, and the piece looks great. But, this product could be improved significantly by better quality control from the factory.
