Great alternative to custom or RTA cabinets
We bought a base and two 42" uppers for our laundry room for our new house. Saved a bucket of money rather than have builder finish off. No assembly, no painting and very sturdy. We where so pleased we put up one more over the washer for exta storage.

      bad cabinets
      I'm trying to write a review that will let people know my experience in the trades and my bad experience with these cabinets. I want to write a review that's acceptable but am now just a goofy building inspector and it seems I'm unable to. I'll just say that since 1979 when I started in the trades, these are the worst cabinets I've worked with and I couldn't even make a few of them work at all. I wish I could help more than this.

        i looked at many different cabinets options when selecting cabinets for my project. I decided to go with the Hampton Bay Shaker cabinets due to the reasonable pricing and availability. I ended up using them in the bathroom over the toilet, in the laundry room over the washer and dryer, and in the kitchen. I am extremely pleased with the look and overall results of my selections.           Apparently not durable
          I put these cabinets up in about May 2020. Look good but already had do do a repair on 2 hinges that pulled out of particle board. I would say they can't handle the weight of dishes. Tonight the cabinets fell off of the wall.

            Regret Purchasing from Home Depot
            I was a faithful Home Depot customer but will now shop elsewhere. I purchased these cabinets and had them installed by a licensed contractor. Three months later one of the doors actually came off the cabinet - the hinge came off the cabinet. I immediately called Home Depot and here we are TWO months later and still no resolution. The Home Depot customer service rep has ignored my emails and phone calls. I am now dealing directly with the manufacturer. Hopefully, they will do something. At least 4 doors have loose hinges. This should not be happening on brand new cabinets - only a few months after installation

                Warped doors
                Unpack and inspect the cabinets before you take them out of the store, if you are able. One of the first steps to install this cabinet is to remove the doors. After installation, and the doors were reattached, we noticed both doors on this cabinet were warped. We purchased this line of cabinets because they are pre-finished, have a durable coating, and look pretty good. This cabinet also had a flaw in the finish, however we were able to place the flaw where it would not show.
