Q:I have about 6 of these candles. I got them last year. They don't turn on and I can't open the bottom of the candle to replace the batteries. I don't think they actually have AA batteries in them because they are very light.

These candles were a great deal, 3 realistic good sized flameless candles for a great price. I bought them to go in lanterns and love that it comes with a remote.

My wife picked these candles to add an accent light in our kitchen. The previous lights were a nuisance to use because we had to get on a step ladder to turn them on and off. With this remote controlled version, no more step ladder.
These lights use AAA batteries. Some of them were depleted and I had to throw away. What's going on?
The spring that holds the battery is flimsy and I had to take a small pair of pliers to move back into alignment. The build is not great but the functionality works for us.

From a distance they look like real candles but as you get closer it’s pretty easy to tell they are fake. Each candle has a slight different color to them which I like and makes them feel a bit more real. Additionally there is a slight flicker which imitates a real flame.
They each take 3 AAA batteries which came in the package and is a nice touch. But the battery to operate the remote was missing and I don’t have a battery to match it so I need to buy one.

These candles look just like real candles. I love candles, but having cats it is not practical to light them and walk away from them. These candles are battery operated and even come with a remote control. The batteries came with it but not the one for the remote. I happened to have a battery for the remote. I can use them indoors or outdoors. They even have a light that looks like a wick.

An awesome idea with the remote control! Makes the candles so easy to use. We have previously had the older types with the switches on the bottom of each candle which quickly become a pain. Having a set of 3 on a remote control switch makes it so simple. The remote takes the flat round 2032 type of battery. Each candle needs 3 AAA batteries. Lights up very nice. We put ours in the bathroom on a wooden tray.

The set of three candles came packaged well. There were no instructions included with them. It was not an issue as the remote control is self-explanatory, it simply says “remote control” and has an on and an off button. Note: These are not dimmable.
I am currently using them inside but they are rated for outdoor use as well. Each one uses three AAA batteries.
They throw a bright gentle flickering light that is quite nice. Using them in three corners of my living room displays a very soft tone. Just as real candles would.
My only complaint with these..... is that the manufacturer forgot to include the battery for the remote control! Luckily I happen to have the correct size button battery in my stash.

We're big fans of the electric candles on summer nights in our screened in porch. They create that candlelit atmosphere without the actual danger of fire. Particularly helpful when we have the whole family over with clumsy adults and curious kids. These are nice candles, very good for the price. The remote is a really nice add. We can place them in our hurricane lampshades and not have to pull them out to get them on!

This is a simple easy to use 3 pc resin candle set for indoor/outdoor with an on/off remote control. It uses 3 ‘AA’ batteries that are covered by a lock-in cover that twists on/off to turn the candles on or off. The candles have a nice glow and flicker like a real candle without the mess of wax spillage or live fire concern. The remote control is very handy and allows you to turn them on/off at a moments notice. You get 3 candles that measure @ 6” tallx3” wide to use together or separately as you wish and can be used in so many ways,you are only limited by your creativity.
