White cabinetry budget kitchen remodel
Definitely saved a lot of money buying stock cabinets and our kitchen turned out pretty good. Some minor cosmetic issues but nothing faulty. One drawer in the middle does like to stick half way and I have to pull it harder to open all the way. Overall good for cost. Home Depot is great for home projects because they always accept returns if product is damaged or just changed minds. Exchanged 2 base cabinets for different size due to incorrect measurements on my part. Customer service is great.

When I picked up my order, the box was intact. I could see even before removing the cardboard that the drawers were crooked. I was hoping that I could pull the drawers out and get them to easily realign. This did not work. I will be taking back to Home Depot to exchange.

For the price, this is an excellent drawer base cabinet! It's already assembled when it arrives, which is a real plus. The drawer slides seem substantial enough, they are soft-close, and the drawer boxes seem very well made. I used two cabinets to create a chest of drawers in a closet space and topped it with doug fir planks. It looks and works great. Certainly someone building a high-end kitchen will upgrade from these cabinets, but on the other hand, as a (literally) lightweight DIY-er, I am always glad when I am able to move and install something on my own, without having to ask for help. I had first ordered two higher-end plywood-sided drawer base cabinets which were much more expensive -- I could hardly move the boxes myself and I would have still had to put them together.
