      Q:I purchased the Hampton Bay shaker crown molding to go with the Avondale cabinet. Can this be added to the top of the Avondale wall cabinets, mine do NOT go to the ceiling and molding would not reach ceiling either. How do we get in to attached properly?

      A:  We do not see an issue adding our Shaker crown molding to your Avondale cabinets. Typically, you can attach the molding to the cabinetry with 1-1/4-in. 18-gauge brad nails.         Q:How does this molding attach to the tops of the cabinets? Is there space above the doors to attach it directly to the cabinet top or do you need to purchase some type of furring strips to add to the cabinets before attaching?
