- Polypropylene backing; outdoor rug pad suggested during use (sold separately)
- Manufactured and Machine Woven in Belgium
- Stain, soil, and UV resistant for maximum durability
- Easy clean and maintenance; rinse with garden hose
- Dense fabrication will easily withstand harsh elements ensuring long lasting durability
- Curling may occur at corners and edges after unpacking, so it is recommended to use rug grippers or adhesive tabs to fix flatness; you can also improve flatness by reverse rolling and letting sit for 24 hours, working curled edges out by bending them in opposite direction, or applying books (weight) on the areas of concern for 24 hours

The HAMPTON BAY SOLID TAN 5 FT. 3 IN. X 7 FT. INDOOR/OUTDOOR AREA RUG was surprisingly light for how firm the weave and sturdy the area rug was. It was tightly rolled up and very securely packaged, so with that being said after unrolling the rug i needed to weigh down the corners and give it a day or two to relax and stay flat.
I liked the fact it feels well built and thick so chairs and tables haven't indented the rug yet. With a good vacuum it can easily pick up dirt/dust from under rug without lifting it and is very easy to clean with a high stream waterhose or pressure washer in seconds and dries quickly.
What to think about ... it is light weight and at the first gust of real wind it will roll away. It could be used as an indoor rug but I'd prefer something a little softer for my feet.

This is a nice quality rug. It has a look of straw but I think its a synthetic material. It is perfect for our usage. We needed a replacement carpet at the garage door entrance. We use that rug to trap dirty and leaves from entering further into the garage. I also move mowers and tillers of that area. The carpet came in a tube wrapping and was curled at the edges. But after a day with some tools on the edges, the carpet lays flat. It is not a soft carpet if you are barefoot. Rather it is more rugged as we needed. The color is tan. I estimate there are about 10-12 weaves per inch and decorative edges. Good looking and nice design.

HAMPTON BAY SOLID TAN 5 FT. 3 IN. X 7 FT. INDOOR/OUTDOOR AREA RUG
This Hampton Bay Area Rug is listed as an indoor and outdoor rug. It looks pretty for outdoor rug. I rather use it at my deck. It is made of 100% polypropylene which makes it weather resistant and It is thin without backing. I like that I can hose dirt off and let it air dry as is right on my deck.

With spring around the corner we were looking for something to put on our deck... We selected these outdoor rugs as they are constructed from 100% Polypropylene fiber to make clean up a breeze. Just hose it off and let dry before lying it back down.... We found after a day of letting it air out in our living room it laid down well.... It could be used for any setting. But a non-slip rug pad is recommended for vinyl or hardwood floors as we are doing for the winter months in our kitchen.

Although this Hampton Bay Area Rug is listed as an indoor/outdoor rug, I would only use it outdoors; preferably on covered areas, such as a patio, porch or, as I did, a screened sun room. It is made of 100% polypropylene which makes it weather resistant, but this material is rough and uncomfortable to walk on without shoes. The rug is thin and has no backing. If you put it on a smooth hard surface you will need a non-skid pad under it to keep it from moving. The advantage to having this rug outdoors is; when dirty, you can just hose it off.

Bought this to complement our Hampton Bay fire pit set...
Bought this to complement our Hampton Bay fire pit set in quarry red purchased a couple years ago. Similar enough color. Material seems tightly woven so I think it will hold up good on our busy deck, Lab approved, our dog Penny loved laying in the sun on it Sunday.
