        Nice period appropriate bathroom fixture
Just installed two of these fixtures in the bathroom of my 1920s bungalow. The quality is very nice and they installed easily and they are very period appropriate. The only issue with installation is that the fixtures do not sit completely flush to the wall. I think this is partly due to the fixture's bracket and partly due to the junction boxes in my bathroom. I used a 60W equivalent squiggly CFL bulb and it fit just fine, although a larger bulb might be too large to fit within the shade. I had originally purchased different fixtures for this bathroom, but could not get the bracket for those fixtures to align to my junction boxes (the joys of old homes :). I ran out to get these fixtures and actually like them better than the other ones I tried. FYI - The wall color is Behr Japanese Fern 400B-6

terrible, globes FALL OUT and BREAK
Within 1 hour, the globe fell out on its own, and shattered in sink. The globe is held in by "screwing" it in, rather than using the standard three screws on the perimeter. The result is that when the shade heats up, the soft metal deforms ever so slightly allowing the pressure fit to release, and the shade comes crashing down. Read the 3 light reviews of this same fixture to see the same results. Will return ASAP. DO NOT BUY.

Just installed one of these in my bungalow and it is awesome. I plan on getting 2 more. Great value and looks great in a historic home.

              Whitford 1-light sconce
This is an excellent quality light. I paired two of them with a 2-light Whitford nickel finish sconce around dual vanity mirrors in a bathroom. The appearance and light are very good. A word of caution is in order: don't put a tall bulb in the light; use a low profile bulb (a standard size 60 watt equivalent CFL bulb is too tall.) The shade screws into the base and a tall bulb will pop the top (or bottom) out of the shade. They are not inexpensive to replace - more than half the cost of the whole fixture.
