Can you put on fabricated wood deck?
Thanks for posting your question. No, this is not recommended. Sparks and heat from the fire pit could cause damage to the deck and is a potential fire hazard.

looks like it might be difficult to empty the ashes, yes?
Not at all, it couldn't be easier. It's no different than any fireplace. You simply use an ash shovel as you would with any other form of fire ashes. It's best to shovel the ashes into a metal receptical and close with lid until completely cooled.
Thanks for posting your question. Emptying ashes is the same with most wood burning fire pits. Once the ashes have completely cooled, you can scoop out and transfer them to a metal container with a tight-fitting lid, until ready to dispose of in your regular trash. If you really want to clean out completely, then you can also wash out with a garden hose, but that's not necessary.

can i grill steaks and burgers on this ?
Thanks for your question. This fire pit isn't designed to use as a grill, however it can be used that way if you want, just as an open campfire can be used to grill steaks and burgers.
