There were 2 versions of the door trigger. I received the 1 that only would chirp. They sent me the other version very quickly which was fine. Now my doorbell in my office has both a door entry trigger and the traditional button trigger if my door is locked which is exactly what i was looking for.

I used this with the Hampton Bay WL-103C-A chime. It seemed to work for a while. Then quit working. New batteries didn't help. Drove me crazy! I could hold the 2 parts in my hand and separate them and it would work. As soon as I stuck it to the door and jamb, wouldn't work. I could leave the magnet on the door and pull the transmitter off the jamb and it would ring the bell but if I attached it to the jamb it wouldn't work. Craziest thing. Using adhesive tape on back of units to fasten. Save yourself the headache and get something else more reliable.

Hello,
Sorry that you had issue with your door sensor. The issue you have can happen for a few reasons. The most common issue is if the door or door frame is metal. This can affect the signal getting out of the unit so it can reach the chime unit. If you would like you can contact technical support at 1-800-858-8501
