Wireless or Wired Door Bell, Black with Scroll Metal Accent

I got this doorbell chime since my old one was looking yellowed from the sun exposure and I believe only had a single bell ringing tone. When I received my product, it was easy to verify that it was undamaged with the almost completely clear view of the entire product. I used my box cutting razor and carefully cut the plastic on three sides to remove the product from the packaging. The instructions were also pleasantly easy to understand and the product was very easy to install. The only odd part was that the supplied wall anchors were too big for the supplied screws for mounting the chime to the wall. This was easy overcome by using my larger and much more hefty wall anchors. After powering the chime, I tested the doorbell melodies and found just the right one for multiple times during the year (Christmas, Easter, Birthdays, 4th of July, etc). I highly recommend this doorbell chime.

I installed the Ring Pro a couple weeks ago, but my older door chime was not compatible with it. I tried a two other chimes, but I could not get those to work either, but then I stumbled upon a section of the Rings webpage that list which chimes work with the pro, so I figured I would give it a shot. First thing that I noticed was that the chime was a bit smaller than my last, but had a nice design that should match just about any décor. Its built solid, but not as heavy duty as I am used to. That being said, it should hold up fine for years to come. As for install, the directions seemed a bit more complicated than they needed to be, but I used the Ring directions and hooked it up easily. I did have to fiddle a bit with it at first, but you need to make sure that you hold in the (sync button) for about 30 seconds for it to hook up to the doorbell. Once I got it working, I had a selection of 16 chimes to pic from. Most of them sound a bit cheesy/weak, but a few of them hade a solid sound to them. All in all, once the cover was put back in place, the chime sounded strong after the volume was adjusted to high. Thought I do like this chime, I did have the feeling after it was working to just leave it alone as it seemed it could stop working at any second. The biggest negative is that it takes a good 2 to 3 seconds for the chime to ring after the button is pushed, and the chime stops before the melody has completely finished playing. All in all, it works with the Ring Pro, but I wish it was a bit more heavy duty than it is. That being said, I still recommend as it worked where many others have failed. I also like that this can be hardwired or battery power. (Mine is hardwired)

Randomly rings and changes the programmed tune. Poorly made.

Love the look of this door bell but unfortunately will need to return to store after purchasing online. We installed it wired not wireless and it continually rings when no one is at the door. Paid an electrician to look at it and 'fix' it but still does the same thing.

This item was broken and never worked. It installed easy enough and looks great, but never worked in my home. Ended up in the trash, since i didn't couldn't make a return during covid shutdowns.

I was pleasantly surprised with the sturdy construction of this product. The choice of ring tones was fun to play and make a decision on - hubby and I each chose the same one thank goodness! It was fairly easy to install. The only problem is that it isn't the same size as our old door bell - so we are now heading back to Home Depot to buy some paint! (One project leads to another!)

Don't buy... Looks nice doesnt work as it should The doorbell rings for no apparent reason. Woken up at 3am due to a ring , frightened awake wondering why someone is ringing at that time, wondering is there's an emergency.

i hate this doorbell it rings randomly by its self. It is super annoying. I gave it 2 stars because it looks nice.

Excellent and easy to install. I'd gladly pay $10 more for one with a decent speaker though, if we are being honest. Sound is a little thin and obviously a low-bit-rate mp3 or OGG or the like. The variety of rings available is nice
