Handy Home Cedar Shed Very pleased with overall product. The box itself fit in the bed of my truck flat with the tailgate down and we secured the box with straps. We unpacked the box while it was in the bed of the truck onto the garage floor since it did weight 250lbs. Was easy for two person assembly. The Instruction are available online in pdf format as well as actual manuals in 3 languages were included in the box. Most of the instructions were easy to understand. All parts are clearly labeled. The wood has a 4 digit number stamped on the end. We used 6 concrete 24x24 pavers under our shed after removing grass and leveling the ground. Had a problem with floor panels at first thinking they were not wide enough but you have to leave a space. A jig for floor spacing of the boards would have been helpful as you can not butt them up against each other and cover the full length. There is not a gap seen if you do them correctly as in front of the first board and after the last board you will have a wall panel that takes up some of the space. Start at one end and lay them out and you can adjust them prior to screwing them on. Had a few problems with the T-Nut not allowing the next wall panel to tighten up against the previous panel to make a secure fit. Had to loosen bolts to make a better fit. The roof panels were covered in a protective plastic wrap that you need to remove prior to installing. The clear side wrap came off easily with one person holding the panel and another person pealing off. The blue side was much more difficult because of the ridges and I gave up on trying to get all of it off. Would have liked to have a locking mechanism option for doors. Since the doors are one inch thick having problems finding a deadbolt key pad system that would allow me to secure the doors and use a keypad instead of a padlock. I didn’t realize the front height was under 6’ tall so if you’re a taller person you will hit your head entering the shed. A option gutter system would be nice since it all runs down hill towards the front of the shed. Would be great to collect the rain water into a barrel. The HD staff at store I picked up the shed from was extremely slow. I arrived at the store at 5:29pm paid for the shed and was not on the road home until 6:15pm. Although they were nice they were not in any hurry.

Very tedious assembly, inadequate instructions, and missing hardware. It's a flimsy structure with no solid beams or braces to establish or maintain square and plumb lines. Unless you have building experience and know how to use a builder's square and carpenter's mathematics, your erected structure will not be squre, and the metal roof will not fit at all. This was not straightforward even for the experienced people I called in (and paid) to finish the job. The hardware in the instructions does not always correspond to the hardware provided in the plastic packets, and the rubber-protected roofing screws were more than 5 screws short in each of the two sheds that I bought and built. Eventually we found and bought non-matching roofing screws to fill the pre-punched holes in the roof panels, as they couldn't be left unfilled.. A regrettable purchase.

Few tips on putting this together: - make sure the base is square when you install the floor boards. I was lazy with mine and it was a bit off, makes everything else a pain. - get a self-centering drill bit for the hinges Apart from that I put thing together myself, took a full day. Quite tedious, but not too shabby in the end.

Product arrived with zero issues - it was well packed and well organized, with all parts numbered. Instructions were excellent, clear, with close up detailed pictures, and appropriate "warnings". It took me only slightly longer than their suggested time to complete. Really like the way it came out.

Smells nice and has good build quality, a nice tin roof, and it looks great!

I had to hire a handyman to put this together. He builds kitchens and additions for people. But this piece took him 9 hours to assemble. I would not have tried to do this myself even though I do assemble furniture and outdoor pieces. It’s very complicated.
