How many gallons will this hold?

Is there a hole in the bottom for water drainage?
Asked by LK February 15, 2021The Hanover planter does not come with pre-drilled holes in the bottom for water drainage. You can easily drill holes if needed, there's markings on the bottom of the planter for guidance.
How much soil will this hold?
Asked by Jimmy February 1, 2021The 20 inch Hanover is a large planter, holding about 35 gallons of water. This is almost cubic feet of soil. We recommend filling the bottom of the planter with leftover plastic bottles or a thick layer of leaves or twigs.

Asked by Clawed July 1, 2020Hello - the Hanover can be painted with paint made for plastic. Home Depot sells a spray paint for plastic. Please follow the directions to avoid future chipping or peeling.

is the bottom raised up from the ground at all? I'm looking to put planters over some stumps that...
Asked by mish May 30, 2020No, it lays right on the ground. There may be a half inch or so under, but not much more! Has to be in a relatively flat surface.
