Could the twin mattresses be positioned where the head is at the top of the headboard vs sideways? This way there is not a seam in the middle of the body running length wise, instead making it so you sleep as if it's 2 twin mattresses side by side length?
Sorry, I don't recommend you doing this. There's a high chance that the two mattresses won't fit.
