Harris 5-Minute Bed Bug Killer Gallon and Resistant Bed Bug Powder 4 oz. Pro Pack is a very quick solution for all stage bed bugs. This can be directly used on mattress, carpets and any other problematic places. It only takes 5 minutes to kill and it will last long. It does not have foul smell nor stain your furniture. It comes with sprayer that makes spraying whole a lot easy. With the powder, it will protect your furniture for a month.

My review is of the Harris 5-Minute Bed Bug Killer, 1 quart spray bottle, and the Resistant Bed Bug Powder, 4 oz bottle with brush. One of the tenants in the building told me that he had bed bugs. I wanted to get something to protect me from getting them. The application of both the liquid spray and the powder dust has put a barrier between me and possible infestation. The liquid sprayer has a mist nozzle and a stream nozzle. I used both. I misted along the threshold doorway to the hall. The powder bottle requires some practice to get the dust to come out sufficiently to put the dust around the floor molding. The brush that comes with it is a handy tool to get any dust that is off target moved to where it can be effective barrier. I really like that they liquid has a 5 minute kill and can last for up to one month.

This is an awkward conversation to have, but our office has bedbugs, or BB's for short. One lady brought them in from home, or allegedly brought them in from home. We had them eradicated, or so we thought, but had a resurgence of them. And for anyone dealing with this, you will know that they are not easy to get rid of. Even with professional services. So, fast forward, and the lady who brought them in won't just stay at her desk, she wanders around the office, including wanting to stop and chat at my door. I've told her she cannot do that, that I'm too worried about them coming into my office, but she finds reasons to stop by plus she traverses the hallways to and from my office. Well, I'm pleased to report that I've treated my office with this spray and as directed, with no bedbugs in my office or in the area leading to/from my office. Is it 100% due to this spray? I can only think that the chance of them having found their way to my office would have been inevitable had I not done this treatment. I have to believe that truth in advertising is in play, and that the 5 minute thing would apply if they were to track across the treated area. I'm just glad I have no reported bedbugs in my areas - by the way, there are K9 dogs that you can hire to sniff for bedbugs. Yes I'm serious. It is big business. And they are not part of the exterminator company, they are independent so as not to cloud up the issue. I have not tried the powder yet, but you can be assured I will be using this too, creating a barrier to make them crawl across the powder. Since the infestation was discovered, I've done a lot of research on these things. They came out of the caves with the first upright mammals (cavemen if you will) and have continued to live on despite our best attempts to get rid of them. I know in the 40's, after WWII, they came back from the soldiers that were in WWII, and using DDT pretty much got rid of them here, but with world travel what it is, they continue to come back into this Country and are more prevalent today than thought because DDT is outlawed for use. Bedbugs don't "jump" or "fly", they only crawl....they can fall off of someone or something, but they are called hitchhikers because they need a ride to get anywhere other than crawling there. And once they suck your blood, they can go for up to 45 days before they need a refill. Yes, nasty critters. That said, I'm confident this stuff works, and will continue to treat my office and areas around, to ensure I don't end up bringing them home.

Harris 5-Minute Bed Bug Killer Gallon and Resistant Bed Bug Powder 4 oz. Pro Pack The liquid product comes with the sprayer and is easy to assemble and use. The nozzle is adjustable from the end cap from a fine mist to a heavy stray and even a stream. The dust comes with a nozzle making it easy to direct the application. This appears to be a good do it yourself product.

Peace of mind from an exterminator strength bed bug killer. Selected for travel, but was given an unexpected test. We were on a cruise with friends when their cabin tested positive for bed bugs. It turned out to be a Royal pain. I had intended on transferring this to a smaller bottle to spray in beds when we travel as a safeguard. However, it was given a test when a house guest informed us they had found bed bugs in their home. Though the possibility was low, we were able to turn to this product and treat the areas they had slept or kept their luggage. So far, so good, no bed bugs a week later. Usage of the product is what caused me to score it a little lower. First, the spray is either stream or stronger stream. No way to get a spray. This probably allows it to penetrate seams, but a spray option would be preferred. Also, once pressurized both "off" settings resulted in a small puddle from a drip. A third negative is the color - it goes on milky white and dries white. You can see where you treated, but it should dry clear. The positives - no bed bugs is the big one, able to handle it without gloves, and odorless with no chemical fumes.

Harris Professional Exterminator Formula Bed Bug Killer is Odorless, Non-staining and can be sprayed directly on mattresses, seams, and box springs with its included handy easy-to-use trigger hand sprayer. Spray on furniture, carpets, in closets and baseboards. Anywhere a bedbug can hide! Hotels, Motels, Bed & Breakfasts are the easiest places to pick up bed bugs. It doesn’t matter if the place is expensive or economically priced. Bed bugs are indiscriminant, and can travel from place to place on the clothes and luggage of the visiting travelers. Then they get into your clothing and luggage, and you or your guests bring them into your home, and you now have the problem! Bedbugs can build up an immunity to insecticides very quickly. Getting rid of bedbugs can be a frustrating task. You think they are gone, and then they pop up again. Bedbugs can hide out of sight, and can go for 6 months without biting anyone for a blood meal. Experts say that you need to treat the infected area with 3 different insecticides, rotating each of them every treatment in order to kill the bugs, and prevent them from building up immunity. Adding Harris Professional Exterminator Formula 5-Minute Egg and Resistant Bed Bug Killer to your treatment cycle can help you rid your home of the pesky bedbugs. Its mixture consisting of ciothianidin, metofliithrin, and piperonyl butoxide provides an effective treatment against bed bugs. Remember to “Shake Well” before using.

So far so good as far as killing bed bugs. A neighbor offered me an upholstered chair in great condition, but before bringing it in the house I discovered a few bed bugs on/in it. These bugs are notorious for being difficult to get rid of. Several attempt to do so with retail spray cans hasn’t succeeded, but this professional grade insecticide did. There is no lingering scent at all. While it sprays like a watery liquid, it seems to settle as a milky substance. I sprayed outside, but if I were to do so inside, I would recommend leaving (with any pets, let alone children) for at least a few hours until it is completely dry. I cannot attest to the residual affect or duration yet, but it does seem to kill on contact.

What great timing! We have bedbugs in our office! So I won't be able to tell you if this did it's job until the K-9's that sniff for bedbugs come back and determine if there is an all clear or not, but I can tell that the part that say odor free is true. It is like spraying water, not like the aerosol can of stuff I've been spraying around. That stuff (the aerosol) makes me feel like I've been sniffing paint or something, it is so strong. So I'm going to trust that this will do the job, based on the fact it is what the pro's use. I can try to provide an update and let you know. Yes, I'm paranoid about these getting into my part of the office, so I've been spraying the stinky can of spray and I know people are not happy about it. This is such a relief that it doesn't stink. And the spray nozzle/pump thingy that comes with it works extremely well.

Harris 16 oz. 5-Minute Bed Bug Killer Foaming Spray and 4 oz. Resistant Bed Bug Powder Value Pack I found this set of bed bug eliminators easy to use, and they cover even resistant infestations. The 5 min. Killer, like any insect poison must be handled safely. It took a lot of reading, but I used a mouth and nose cover to protect my lungs, and rubber gloves as an extra precaution. The foam was easy to use on most surfaces, but I found when spraying it onto a vertical surface, some dripping occurred, especially if I was not careful to maintain the 8 to 10 inch distance from the wall. There was no objectionable odor I could detect, but I did close the door to the bedroom and opened the window as a personal precaution. The bed bug powder is an additional option in case your bugs have developed a resistance to poisons. It is in the form of a powder, and does have a number of responsible use measures, especially in relation to exposure to food. I tested it in a small area, and found it easy to use. I will keep it as a backup to the foam, and might not have to use it.

This product really works; you hear this from a non believer. No really, I've always thought that bed bugs is a myth of sorts and anyway, it can’t happen to us. It continued this way until I actually started catching bed bugs but at first didn't know what it was. After a bit of research, I knew. Bed bugs. Oh no. This product came at just the right time. We literally took the bed apart and dusted all the cracks and crevices with the Bed Bug powder. On the bed and under the bed, by the walls and practically all over the place. Be sure to wear a mask while working with the powder. Next, we purchased a bed bug mattress cover, washed and dried the bedding and all our clothes on hot. Following the powder application, I applied the foaming spray for the good measure. It promised to kill bed bugs in all life stages even eggs, and sure enough it did. We have only used this product for a couple of weeks, and would you believe it, the bugs are gone. The powder and the spray in combination with the mattress cover did the trick. Will continue applications every once in a while as a preventative measure. Harris Bed Bug Powder and foaming spray is an awesome tool to get rid of bed bugs, and I highly recommend it.
