Yes. The Harris Bed Bug Killer Powder, product code HDE-32 does come with the Powder Duster included in the bag.
No not at all. Just where the bed bugs seem to be nesting. For example: along the walls of your home, if there's carpet pieces you can lift add powder there, under your couch cushions and couch, mattress etc. Your clothes will just have to be bagged up and washed and dried in warm temperatures. (Mainly if they were on the floor or on your bed). For the walls and ceiling I also purchased the bed bug killer spray. This whole system saved my home from spending much more money on an exterminator. I hope this helps! Good luck!
I would think yes. I've tried other powders. Harris actually works. Remember powder takes time to kill them. Doesn't kill on contact. More of a preventative. Will kill and keep them away. I suggest harris over any it works. I would use a puffer in certain areas between walls and floors and certain areas. I used an unused paint brush duster around mattress box spring and walls and legs of framing. Be sure to wear a dust mask when applying
Thank you for your inquiry. Harris Bed Bug Killer (diatomaceous earth) can be used on wood floors. The powder needs to remain dry, light and fluffy to cling to the bug. Do not allow overspray of cleaners or any type of spray to rest on the powder. Thank you.
It comes together.
Thank you for your inquiry. The Diatomaceous Earth is to be applied lightly and uniformly and highly effective at that application and may be removed easily with a typical household vacuum cleaner. If you feel that the powder has been applied heavily remove the bulk of it prior to vacuuming. Removing a bulk amount may be done by gently sweeping it into a dustpan. Then vacuum. Thank you. P.F. Harris.
should be fine, as long as they don't eat it.
No. To be effective the bugs must crawl over it so that the tiny shards of glass puncture their exoskeleton. In order for them to crawl over it, you have to have it ON the upholstery or bed fabric. The particles are very tiny, so they will stick to the fabric. the problem is that it will fly into the air too when you apply it and you don't want to breathe this in! REALLY BAD fro your lungs - like permanent damage! So you MUST have a face mask on and use maybe a paint brush to brush the stuff onto all the nooks and crannies of the upholstery or seams on the mattress. This stuff won't hurt your body at all (in fact there are people who EAT this stuff to kill intestinal worms in less developed areas of the world) but you can't breathe it in. Once you apply it and the dust literally settles, you are fine around the furniture/bed and can take the mask off.
No. It really doesn’t work at all. Don’t bother to buy it.
I had to order it online. Believe it had free shipping or free store pick up. @home depot
